What you will find in the homebrew forum is a wealth of homebrewing information shared by members who homebrew; it is as real and experience based info you are going to find.
I learned all about home brewing after spending time reading the homebrew forum; brew porn is one of the useful threads amongst many other. I read and reread the forum a number of times, asked questions here to clarify/confirm my understanding. Members will help but you have got to spend time to read what members have already shared...

Keep reading in the steroid home brew section. You are a LONG way from making your own. You need to understand the ingredients and more importantly how to make and keep everything sterile. You don’t want to fuck yourself up with a nasty intramuscular infection because you didn’t know what you were doing.

Personally I think the process is pretty easy. The bit people tend to skip out on is sterility and how to keep everything clean.

There's a lot of measures to be taken to ensure that your end product is safe. Do not miss out on this part.

There really isn't anything too technical about it. Just keep in mind you are making a injection preparation. Your not compounding or shit like that. Your basically the guy making cocktail at the bar. I will say it can be time consuming

Being clean is most important. I wipe everything down 3x with rubbing alcohol throughout, by the end of my process. I just did test cyp 30mL, from start to finish in an hour. The sterilizing of the glass ware, and the beaker for mixing and cleaning took 45 mintes total. The dissolving in solution took 7-10 minutes. The actual filtering took 3-5minutes.
