How do you homebrew?

Le
Being clean is most important. I wipe everything down 3x with rubbing alcohol throughout, by the end of my process. I just did test cyp 30mL, from start to finish in an hour. The sterilizing of the glass ware, and the beaker for mixing and cleaning took 45 mintes total. The dissolving in solution took 7-10 minutes. The actual filtering took 3-5minutes.
Wow holy fuck!!...only an hour???!

let me ask you something...
How much to raw forms of test typically cost? Like how much did that batch run ya?

Much much much cheaper, bascially 1 or 2 vials from a source, you can have 6 months worth of test C, at 400 mg a week.
and when done right, you control whats in it.
I just make a little at a time, but keep more when needed, so not buying all the time.

its not hard, but people are dumb and when taking short cuts or doing to much at one time, problems arise.

Not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but you said filtering took you 3-5 mins. I filter my brew at 2.5micron and then to .45micron, followed by .22 and it's a bitch. Takes forever. Brew is nice and hot too. Any suggestions? Am I missing something? Using GSO/EO mix at 80/20 ratio

Well gso is thick even when warm and harder to push through the filter. Also don't filter oil that is HOT, warm is ok, but not HOT. Are you filtering by hand or with a caulking gun?

Hmm, I heard GSO was the best option. What would you suggest that’s thinner? Caulking gun with the 60ml syringe

MCT oil, BB at 18 % and BA
2%warmed.
5 mL syringe by hand. Fill 6 times. Gets me my 30 mL, 20 seconds per fill. Just a .22 micron filter. Warm half way through.

Do you filter twice? I’ve heard mixed things about filtering. Some just filter once straight into the vial while others filter 2-3 times before filling the vial.

edit: I have always filtered once but maybe someone can give some insight on why it’s not a good idea to just filter once. I use .22micron

Just do it once. Refiltering you open the oil back of to air.

Thats like pouring a new 16 oz water bottle into another new 16 oz water bottle. Waste of time.

Makes sense. I was just wondering if it’s possible any bacteria larger than or equivalent to .22 was able to make it past the first time. But I don’t think it is.
According to google, only viruses are able to pass a .22micron filter, all bacteria’s cannot get past a .22micron filter.

Fucking gross lol.

Is this better? I was just trolling with the first one lmao. But that was the vid I first saw that got me interested in brewing because it opened my eyes that underground labs aren’t really professional labs. They are just people at home in there basement doing stuff like that.

That covers everything to the filtering point. Also, love how they use the Kirkland (Costco) brand GSO haha. I’m interested how people filter GSO because I seem to have difficulties when filtering even at warm temps ~180° for test C (melting point roughly 225°F).
