How Long do you give a source?

Im not having any issues- Just wondering how long you guys would
wait to give a dom. source before you start emailing him about if your
stuff has been sent..etc. After you notice your money has been recvd.

The way i see it, it's a business. The sources in present company will not like this, but the day after they say it expected, if it ain't there...time to make contact. If a company was supposed to deliver a car to you yesterday at 5 pm, and they didn't show.....how long would it take you to call. Most guys will understand...some will not...those are the guys I'll pass on the next time I'm in need.

that depends on who the source is. there is a source that i would, and have waited on, for a good amount of time. but i know he's real busy and didnt bother him.

other sources who are "up and coming" would get an e-mail from me in a week. ofcourse, that is if i know he got funds and never responded with an ETA.

one over seas source...waited about 2 months. but everyone said he was good, and he was. he delivered, but it took a while.

the domestic, well it was a big order. he was backed up. sent in 3 different shipments. total time was 4-5 weeks.

so how long would i wait? i guess till i got it. what else could you do? you could give up i guess. when i do reciebe an e-mail staing something like "pack will be sent today, you should receive by friday", then i wait another 3-4 mail delivery days and e-mail him informing him i never received. and we take it from there.

most sources give you a time frame as to when you should expect your package. if it's past that point send him a nice email asking about your package.

depends on what he says his t/a is. then on most add 2 days too it.But shit does happen and just like a bussiness when someone's order gets behind or is on backorder they get free stuff or i do whatever i can to comp them for time wasted, cause just like any bussiness customer satisfaction is #2,(safety 1st always) so just watch out for excuses,bad communication, and use your head if it doesnt feel right its probably not,

There are some guys who run late because they are busy, but they always come through. I good sign would be if you get no response, or the responses are excuses that don't seem to make sense, or don't add up.

If a guys says he running late or having some problems, then he's being honest and you should let him do his thing and come through.


But learn your lesson and use someone else from then on.... hmmmm...

I have one source (Good bro here, and on other boards) who if he runs late, he'll e-mail with the reason. Sometimes a source will have to wait for raw materials. so shit rolls down hill.
Good comunication is the key. If it's late, E-mail with a nice question. Don't be a demanding A-Hole. We know who the good sources are. The tried and true Bro's deserve our respect. Some of the UG's here make the best products around.
I'd rather wait on a solid source who makes great product, than risk my health on someone I'm not sure of!
