How long does T3 stay in your system?

I have an upcoming annual checkup with bloodwork. I'm currently taking 50mcg of T3 daily - not prescribed by my doctor. So I'd rather my levels be close to normal. How long after I stop taking the T3 will my levels be back to normal? T3, T4, & TSH?

Why would your doctor do a thyroid panel during an annual checkup? Even if you stopped taking T3 cold turkey you would have to wait for your natural levels to rebound which doesn't happen overnight, it's going to take several weeks.

Stopping t3 cold turkey gave me heart palpitations for quite a while, so be careful.

No clue. This is the 2nd time getting bloodwork through this doctor. Last time they tested TSH & T4 free. This time they only tested TSH. I'm fairly healthy 40 y/o male with no major issues.

Results were a little low at 0.209 uIU/mL. Normal is between 0.45-4.5. He didn't seem overly concerned as most of my other bloodwork looked good. Just said we'll keep an eye on it.

How is your libido? I ask because I was taking 50mcg also and has to stop after 3 weeks cause my libido disappeared. A week after coming off I was horny AF again

Never had any libido issues from T3. Hadn't heard low libido was a side effect. Are you sure it wasn't something else causing it? Gear?
