Hi guys. So I just finished a 14 week cycle of 300 test / 300 deca per week. My last dose was two days ago on Sunday. Today, I saw a dermatologist regarding acne treatment. Im a trt patient, which she is aware of, but I didnt disclose my AAS use. Naturally, she wants to get some baseline blood work and one of the tests is a CBC. How long will it take after the cycle I just did for my CBC results to return to normal?

I think you ae confused lol. A CBC is the name of the panel. You my friend need to do some research.

Come on, he's asking how long it takes the relevant markers in the CBC that are altered with AAS use to normalize.

You are also the last person who should be busting someone's balls about doing research given all the easily answerable questions you posted in the HGH forum. "OMG OMG my gh froze it it dead?????!!"

OP I don't have an exact answer because it will depend upon how far they've deviated from normal. If you can use privatemd or other lab to monitor on your own, you may want to go that route if you are getting hounded to get it done but want to provide appropriate numbers and raise zero red flags. I personally wouldn't be too worried about it, but that's just me. TRT can elevate RBCs etc and she has no knowledge of how your trt is affecting it and what you are doing to manage it over time.

We’d have to know what they’re currently at, but typically donating blood and recovering to TRT for a couple months will get you there. That isn’t a guarantee. I assume you’re afraid of the results making it back to your primary care dr?

Hey man, thanks for the vote of confidence, lol. Ya I meant specific values especially RBC. It was a little out of range when I had my last bloodwork. I haven't donated blood yet. I did end up just saying screw it and getting the blood drawn. Thanks for the input.

Hey thanks for the input. I was mostly concerned about her denying me care if she suspected AAS use. I mean, if she did suspect it and asked me, I'd either have to lie or disclose. If I disclose my use, I think it's reasonable to assume she might say, well just cut out your use and the acne wont be a problem.

The biggest piece of advice for you is to find a doctor that will administer care even if you’re using AAS. They don’t have to endorse it or give you a script, but try to find someone who I’ll manage it with you.

Thanks again, guys. For anyone interested I went ahead with the bloodwork and my RBC, hematocrit and hemoglobin were all slightly elevated, just above reference range, but surprisingly to me were very similar to my last bloodwork which was on my trt dose.
