How many HARDCORE METAL fans at Meso?

Sad to say alot of bands sound like garbage live. Mostly bands with too much going on or rap/rock bands. Without the support of electronics and controlled studios they fall on their face LIVE *in my experience*

Slipknot and linkin park sounded shitty live. Sucks too cuz I'm a huge Slipknot follower. Alot of shit going on to sound GOOD live. And linkin park is a radio band. Much like anything rap based is complete garbage live. And I just don't care if it hurts some ones feelings. It sucks

Avenge sevenfold and sevendust put on a great live show also . I was lucky to see avenge a few years ago with Mike Portnoy on drums. Great show !!!

I like a7x alot but it seems they have a teen following mostly or weird emo fags. But the music is very good. So I usually don't advertise

Definitely one of my all time favorite metal bands also. They were the first heavy metal band I ever saw. The show was fucking insane. I remember leaving there with a few bloody lips from the mosh pit but well worth it. Vinny Paul rocks the drums!! Saw him with Hell Yeah. Good show !!

I seem to be mellowing out as the years pass by. At the age of 37 the hardest music I listen to is Rise Against. I do not care for their political ideology per se but their music is great. I am not sure they would classify as death metal though.

I think godsmack would be a great first concert for you and your girl. They put on a great show and usually attracts a pretty good crowd. They seem to tour quite a bit so maybe they will be near by. Don't think you would be disappointed.
