YES it is dude! Most people refer to something as gay to express dislike or something similar and in doing so that person is basically saying that being gay is wrong or bad or the like. How do you not see this? I'm not trying to blow this out of proportion, but it is what it is man. I have had this conversation with a few gay people I know and they all agree with me here dude. Just because people are used to saying things a certain way doesn't make it right bro.

When I say something is gay it is because I grew up with that as a common reference about many things.
If I say it as a phrase in common talk I don't mean it as a reference to gay people.
As a matter of fact the word gay has a meaning well defined in the webster dictionary.
I also say at times that things are retarded but I don't mean it as an offense to the mentally challenged.
In your line if thinking we should not say stupid, dumb, stinky, fat, lazy, black, yellow, white, red or olive then.
I respect your point of view, I just don't agree but that does not mean either of us are wrong...and that is a fact.
