Every day it seems there's a new UGL brand popping up on the forums. Anyone want to guess how many different brands are being circulated via internet forums right now?

Too many.

Homebrewing is as easy as pie. Why not start your own business, deal with the stress, eventually make a mistake and get busted?

Saw a forum regular at eroids decide to do just that except the busted part.

So true.

Just thinking back when the UGL market barely existed beyond Finaplix conversions... Most people were using vet steroids from Mexico. Then Operation Gear Grinder and Operation Raw Deal claimed to take out 80% of the U.S. market.

That really made a dent in the AAS black market didn't it. Transformed it from a black market where a dozen or so companies made vast majority of steroids to a UGL-dominated market where literally hundreds of sole proprietors are staking claim.

Were there many before Proline, cause
that's about when I got in the game...
The UG game that is.

I am still trying to get into the bodybuilding game

An innumerable amount.

The traditional cops and robbers approach to combating the illicit drug trade is futile. Creating a temporarily diminished supply of a product or service only serves to elevate the demand for that product or service. Where a demand exists for a product or service in exchange for financial compensation someone will work vigorously to capture the financial compensation associated with the demand. No amount of policing, harassing, or militarism is going to eliminate the market's demand.

States which have implement loosely regulated marijuana cards for example have provided a superior competing service along side the traditional method of illicit procurement. This competition has driven down the demand for the illicit supply which has hurt the compensation of the illicit suppliers driving many of them out of business. I know many guys personally who have felt the sting in their wallets and have since moved on to other ventures.

It has only made the trade very profitable for SOMEONE. We may dislike steroid or drug laws but the ones profiting (sellers) support them (at least until they get busted!)

Things are definitely different now than they were 20 years ago. Back then, you had to drive to Mexico, and then smuggle them in. Gear was also relatively more expensive.

The main reason for today's UGLs is the availability of raws from China. 20 years ago, China was not the economic super power she is today. And while they call themselves communists, making a dollar is really what the Chinese all want to do.

The larger question is, good or bad? IMO, the proliferation is good, although there are also many more risks. Lots of scammers, but also some solid sources. The great thing about this forum is you get good connects (after you have been around a while and earn trust).

Another concern is health related. I like my current source and have had no prob w/ his gear. The only odd thing is I get a little PIP from his T e. Never had that from my prescription T e.

Yea those were the days. A good buddy got popped during that ordeal. He was the UGL owner of Powerline. Was pretty good and legit stuff. Test prop bottles for $12. The good old days.

Anyone know exactly how harsh the penalties for manufacturing/distributing AAS are? Thinking back to Operation Gear Grinder there was a guy who got popped in all that and just 2 or 3 years later was back in the news for his bottoms up beer glass invention:

"Eight miles away in Montesano, two of Ross' friends, Josh Springer, 25, and Jeff Thompson, 30, were pulled out of bed and arrested in simultaneous early-morning raids."

"The man we should all salute is 28-year-old Josh Springer, founder of GrinOn Industries. He created the “Bottoms Up” draft beer dispensing system, which is not only a visual spectacle, but super efficient—it has the ability to fill up to 56 beers in a minute."

Variable factors play into penalties ranging from eagerness of prosecutors, defense attorney, federal vs local, priors, snitching, etc. The list goes on and on.

The Weise guy got caught in another county one or two months later. Had a history too.

Reading that story out of Seattle those guys if convicted will get lengthier sentences than a drunk driver that kills someone for sure.

It has to be 500 +
Back when QV and TT controlled the Majority they fucked up fair prices..
GREED.
People can be as careful as they want, People get Greedy. The end result will always be the same. I could push my Blue bottles / Yellow caps full time but I no how it will end up. Take care of my crew and thats it. No friend of Friends BS..

Step 1: Government makes selling and possessing steroids legal.
Step 2: Government becomes a steroid source.
Step 3: Government pays money to be top source on Eroids.
Step 4: Government says its OK to buy with Credit/Debit card.
Step 5: $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Step 6: America is no longer in debt but has a nation of Gorillas.

Hundreds of good UGL's popping up all the time. I love the market but you know its going to end soon. Time to stock up a reserve because once the multiple raids happen it will be dry for a while.

You're right about that. LE has been playing catchup since the internet really started to hit in the 90's.. It was like the Wild West. You could find anything and everything without worrying about anything. There was no cyber unit in the FBI.
We're living in a police state. Owner of a board I frequent just got busted...on something unrelated to aas distribution but the feds have his computer and the guy will use any info he has as leverage to get a reduced sentence. If I was a source there I'd be fucking trippin....as well as the members that discussed transactions in the open.
The feds will go up and down the ladder to bring as many into the conspiracy as possible, casual users as well if they want.

They are also now sending Homeland security officers to some of the guys that get items seized. Used to just be a letter but now they are interviewing small time receivers.
