How much do you change your training when on cycle?

When you're on cycle how much do you change your training? I've done 3 cycles but still learning, 2 of them I completely fucked and one I got amazing results from. The one I got the best results from I basically doubled my workouts, just done twice as many sets of everything. I'm not sure if that's the way I should of done it or not but tbf it worked. But I'm having another go, this time I'm running more than any other cycle I've done (test e 625/week, NPP 450/week)

Currently I'm just doing a 6 on 1 off PPL split with 3x6 per exercise and haven't changed it any from before I started my cycle and I'm seeing results but feel like I should be doing more. The main thing I'm looking to gain from my cycle is just strength, I'm not really fussed on size and how I look, I just like to be strong and challenge myself to set new PRs. How much do you tend to change up your workouts when on cycle? Any advice greatly appreciated, thank you.

Mostly did the same thing. Why change what works. Cycles just allow faster recovery from the continuous anabolism. So i can push wights a little higher.

I basically just add a little more of everything. Try to hit an extra day each week, focus a bit extra on progressive overload, and do a few more drop sets / cluster sets for each body part.

I also fucked up and borderline wasted 1-2 cycles. But the common denominator for them was inconsistency. I’d hit 6 days one week and then only 3 days the next. Constantly doing different lifts and swapping whether I wanted to bulk big and fast or slow and lean.

Following an actual workout plan (Gamma Bomb by JM) and sticking to a consistent schedule is what gave me the most success.
