...enough to break the ice! (Ba-doom tssh!)

Hey, what's up everyone?

I've been studying Meso for a couple of days. Many of the threads I have researched proved VERY informative. So to introduce myself;

STATS
26 y/o Male
5'8"
165 lbs @ ~7-9% BF
BMR- ~1550
TDEE- ~2500

CURRENT LIFTS
Squat- 410 wrapped
Deadlift- 455
Bench- 300
OH Press- 165
C&J- 270
Snatch- 205

I have used weight training for 10 years, current personal trainer, nutrition certified and small gym owner. I am an avid crossfit athlete who took a break to gain strength, now training for my first physique show this May. I have two cycles under my belt, both very basic.

First
20 weeks
250mg test cyp per wk
2 iu Kigtropin HGH
20mg Anavar Last 4 weeks during cal deficit
Went from 150 lbs @ ~5% BF to
175 lbs @ ~9% BF

Second
8 weeks
500mg test cyp per wk

PCT for both cycles was 40mg clomid for 4-6 wks.

I'm here strictly to educate myself for an upcoming contest prep. I want to do a little more intermediate cycle, still nothing crazy as the, "Less is more" principal has served me well in my past use. No issues with side effects or gyno. I hope this was not to much, I simply like to be thorough.

A boar (adult male) weighs around 350–700 kg (772–1,543 lb), while a sow (adult female) is about half that size.

there are still polar bears?

And this is why I joined this group, constant entertainment! Glad to be a part.

Speaking of has anyone even hunted bear?

If a polar bear doesn't eat for seven to 10 days, it can slow its metabolism until it finds its next meal. They survive off of fat reserves from their diet, which consists mostly of ringed and bearded seals. (But climate change is making food more scarce and driving some bears to cannibalism.)
The bears don't hibernate, but mother bears live in dens while they raise their cubs. While mama bears are in their dens (generally between January and March), they don't eat, drink or defecate.

And you thought they were only experts on aas. Turns out, everyone here is a zoologist as well. Well...everyone except me. I'm a nuclear physicist. Welcome aboard :)

So anyways..
Did you know despite what we think, a polar bear's fur is not white. Each hair is a clear hollow tube. Polar bears look white because each hollow hair reflects the light. On sunny days, it traps the sun's infrared heat and keeps the bear warm at 98 degrees F (when they're resting).

Polar bears have some serious swimming skills that put Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte to shame. Their huge, webbed paws are perfect for cutting through the ocean at 10 kph (6 mph). Compare that to measly Olympic swimmers who, at best, clock in at 7 kph (4.5 mph). It doesn’t matter how many gold medals you have, you’ll still end up as polar bear brunch. In addition to high speeds, polar bears on average can swim nonstop for 100 kilometers (62 miles). And while some polar bears have been recorded as far as 321 kilometers (200 miles) away from shore, the ultimate record for long-distance swimming was set in 2011. Due to melting ice, which is their natural hunting ground, a mother polar bear and her cub set out across the Beaufort Sea to find a new home. The mother bear swam 680 kilometers (426 miles) over nine days, which is like you taking a little stroll from Washington, D.C. to Boston. It was an impressive feat and a testament to polar bear awesomeness, but it was also a sad reminder of the challenges these creatures face.

Were they running gear at the time?

That's interesting Jay, I read about that mother bear as well. Once she reached land after the long swim, she walked an additional 1,118 miles (about the distance from Los Angeles, CA to Amarillo, TX) and ended up losing 22% of her body mass along the journey. The polar bear (Ursus maritimus) is indeed an extraordinary and resilient creature.
