Hi,
I am a relatively new member. Been working out for 20 years on/off (probably 12 on, 8 off) and powerlifting dedicated the last year. 420DL / 310SQ / 250BP. Have 4 cycles since 1998, and touched Primo, Var, Win, TBOL and Test E. Clen, T3, EPH for weight loss. Sat at 11.2% BF and 220 pounds a few months ago, 6 foot 3.
This summer, I started training Bulgarian, and found great traction in that. Worked out 10-12 hours per week, just on the basic 3 exercises every day, and saw results with PRs every week.
One night, I had the most amazing session in the gym. I had squatted (PR) 220 pounds the day before, and warmed up at 80% of that with one set of 5. In my second set, I repped out 5 at 220, and the speed was amazing. I stuck another 20 pounds on, and 5 more reps came flying up. At this point, I just went for it, stuck another 20 pounds on, and the same thing happened: 5 reps at decent speed. The last one was tough, though, so I added another 10 pounds to my next set. At this point, I had PRed twice, had had 10 reps of a weight previously untouched. And what happened? Up with the first rep. Then out came the second. And Third. Then Fourth. At the 5th rep, 50 pounds over previous PR, my trousers ripped in the hole so my bollocks came popping out. But the rep was delivered. 50 pound PR overnight.
Bulgarian kicks ass. And probably the fact that I was in my 6th week of Test E did contribute not ever so little LOL
