How to pay and receive ANONYMOUSLY ?

Hey Buds,

Newby trying to figure out how to order and stay anonymous. Right now I'm working on opening a BISQ2 account to send BC through.

I was also told to get a 'non KYC custodial wallet' (still undecided on which one). And use encrypted emails to vendor.

* What apps and systems are you using to order your AAS?

Thoughts /comments?

Thanks for your input!

There is no anonymity using bitcoin. You are only anonymous to the vendor. When you create your account to purchase bitcoin you provide a boatload of personal information. Then when you make a purchase the transaction creates an address viewable on the blockchain. If LE really wanted to they could trace the transaction back to you. There are some crypto such as Monero that is more anonymous and harder to trace but very few vendors accept it.

But at a minimum you can make their job harder by purchasing crypto then transferring it to your Wallet. Then only make purchases using your wallet. I use Kraken and Moon Pay to buy, then transfer to my Exodus wallet.

There are a few posts on Meso that go into more detail and written by members more knowledgeable than I. Search for them.

I understand if that COIN is transferred to a Non-KYC-wallet, I can then pay vendor from same wallet (making me anonymous).

Tell me where the fault lies in my plan... ?

Thanks

Again, you are anonymous to the source, but not anonymous to LE. If keeping your identify private from the source/vendor is the goal then your plan works.

Non kyc acquisition plus non kyc wallet.

Getting your BTC KYC then transferring to non KYC wallet doesn't cut it. Do you understand why?

Hodlhodl or bisq to Exodus or other non kyc wallet. Exchange for XMR if you want extra points.

Some of the BTC advice above is poor. Do your due diligence.

Welcome to Meso. Check out the New Member Introduction thread.

That suggestion is more for remaining anonymous with the vendor. There are very little options to evade LE if they are looking for you.
Thanks for clarifying. I received many suggestions on how to receive products anonymously but frankly they all have a weakness IMO.

I like the delivery to dumpster over there plus an blind intermediate, but just sounds like too much work. Giving domestic vendors your address just seems wild to me. I guess you get over it.
