How to sterilise this part?

Hi guys,
I'm using a all glass bottle top filter which support 47mm filter membrane, like this:

How to sterilize the mid part:

I don't want the pores in this mid part to get clogged up in the process of washing(After which I sterilize it).

My sterilisation process:
1)Wash in normal hot water
2)wash in drinking water and let it sit for about 10 mins
3)Let it sit in Iso propyl alcohol for 45-60mins
4)In a different big bowl have distilled water in which I rinse the glass wear.
5)Bake in over for 120-150C for 60-75mins

How do you do it?
Please share your experience with the above apparatus.

Thank you!

A Type B autoclave would be the most effective way to sterilize the mid part.

How are you sterilising the 47mm filter membranes?

Soap and water, rinse, soak in ISO, rinse with distilled water, bake in oven covered in aluminum foil (like a tent) at 450F for 1hr.

That’s how I sanitize all my glass

Never use tap water,only destilled/demineralised.
so you mean I should modify my process to this ?

1)Wash in hot distilled water
2)Let it sit submerged in hot distilled water for about 10 mins
3)Let it sit in Iso propyl alcohol for 45-60mins
4)In a different big bowl have distilled water in which I rinse the glass wear.

The mid part above which the membrane sits has pores, the soap can potentially get stuck in there after which it cannot be removed. I dont think your suggestion will work for this problem. Thanks for taking time to reply!

No need for Isopropyl alcohol at any point, you'll have to use soap to break down the oil deposits.

Wash in hot soapy water, rinse off in tap water then rinse 3 to 4 times in distilled water

Then Autoclave /pressure cook / oven bake

Yes soap water use a lot of soap
What soap do you guys use in general?

1)should I be using soap dissolved in hot distilled water?

2) or should I use a 2 micron filter on top of this piece and get some soap water vacuum filtered via this pore to clean the pores?

3) do you have anyother method in mind which won't clog up the pores?

Sorry I was trolling since you specifically asked for no soap methods yet people kept suggesting soap.

These articles make no mention of not using soap on any type of glass.

You should consider one with a larger pore plate. It doesn’t matter the size of the pore plate if you are using .22 micron filters on top of it. The pore plate is mostly for support of the filter
