Perhaps it’s in poor taste or even immoral in your estimation.

However, people in public spaces have no expectation of privacy. This poster doesn’t require knowledge or permission to post video he filmed of public spaces.

It’s not a shit pot post, I had to go through a lot of trouble doing that commentary and having my son edit the video for me. The video was filmed in violation of Planet Fitness policies and could result in the termination of membership.

I think most private commercial gyms have similar policies.

You could definitely be correct on this. I’m not sure what this commercial gym’s policy is on people filming in their gym.

While I would agree technically it’s a private business, it is operating in the public space and has to do so by those standards. This is by legal standards a public space like a restaurant or shop. They offer a service to the public and anyone from the public community is welcome to use their service. They cannot really refuse service to people without cause and not be subject to legal action for discrimination.

Perhaps it varies by state, but in my state you have no legal expectation of privacy in public spaces.
Either way I don’t condone the behavior of filming people without their consent. I find it to be in poor taste.
