HST Workout 1 simple question

What is it :D ? just kidding......

anywho I have read up on HST training and think i'm going to give it a try, the only thing I have a question about it week 7-8.

"One way is to do negatives with your 2RM for 2 weeks (need a training partner). Another way is to use drop sets".

Can someone please explain the above mentioned quote or should i just redo week 5-6 or 5's

negatives are when you partner helps you bring them up but you try to hold them on the way down, and drop sets are simply go to failure as normal than drop the weight down and blast out some more reps.
