I think ProMuscle is the Best forum on the net (Sorry Millard...your up there to buddy)
It is the best forum for "something," no question there.
It's a tight community of mods and kilo club members, bought off with free gear to shill for the sponsors. No doubt the endless supply of bag lickers that follow the vets around from post to post would say it's a tight community too. For everyone else... not so much.
It's not a question of being a noob or gullible. How can anyone be expected to determine which source is good when negative comments get deleted leaving only glowing reviews fron the shills and mods pushing known scammers like Alin? I mean, PM is an Alin lovefest! I find it telling that you only see that on PM - everywhere else, Alin is well known as a selective scammer.
And don't forget that syntherol garbage that is constantly pushed with lies that it creates real muscle. Utterly absurd!
It might be the standard for PM/bodybuilding community but it certainly isn't the standard for the scientific/medical community.
Look how many 10-year veteran members you have that have been banned. What happened, did they have an attack of conscience?
PM does have that.
Maybe but given the number of sponsors, there are bound to be a couple of diamonds in the sea of polished turds.
What about them? They offer little to the PM community except trolling for new clients.

I can not fix that.
But, you do fix it by deleting posts that are critical of sponsors and banning the poster.

If you look at old threads on PM you will find plenty of former kilo club members with the "infamous" PM "banned" tag under their username.

-Please explain why you believe it is acceptable for mods at PM to push sources. And why is it acceptable for Andre to tell scam victims he doesn't have time to help them with their "illegal drug deals" that are often made because his mods pushed noobs towards a particular source?
-Why it is acceptable for vets to shill for sources for free gear without disclosing that fact?
-Why are comments about sources deleted when they are negative, but comments from shills allowed to stay?
-Why does PM push syntherol and tell members it actually "builds muscle," when in reality, there is no evidence SEO's do anything more the artificially increase muscle size while putting the user at risk of sclerosing lipogranulomatosis and its progression may lead to irreversible muscle loss?

It has a very tight community and not everyone is a newbie or gullable willy lump lumps looking to save 5.
We have pulled together as a community and funded Several thousand dollars in Lab testing. Both MS and Hplc analyzing and als Blood serum tests on HGh
(Yes we started the 10iu 3 hours later Im test) Now days you will see that is a standard for the entire community.
The forum is Top notch IMHO. Just some banned users or sour guys do not like us. Look How many 10 year veteran members we have.
Look How many Current top Notch National level Bodybuilders we have.
We had Two members go from national to Turning Pro this year!! One is on the Olympia stage this weekend!

Out of all the 1000s of sources on all these forums what % are legit & what % are scams? Seem like a huge % are scams to me. So if it is such a "brotherhood" community why would that be allowed?

Of all of them I myself would probably stand behind 5 with my name and reputation.

Nope never ordered. I have far to may other options, with better prices and better product and better reps.
But I had a friend that had ordered several times and last order had missing items and he pretty much got told to fuck off.
Now I understand that the "missing item" scam is used against ugls to acquire free items but in this instance this is a close friend and he wasn't lying.
Everyone has there go to guys Chase. If not we would all be using one supplier. For many reasons some guys work better with others.
many good guys in the community, both private area UGL, and major overseas guys like Alin. The International guys often seem to be more open and have a HUGE customer base. Imagine how many years he is around, and how many customers he must have.

I was on dial-up. 14.4K modem with a compaq 386. If I remember correctly, it had a processor speed of 16Mhz, 2 or 4 megs of ram, a 40 meg HD and ran OS 3.something. It cost more than 3 grand in 91 and it was FAST for the era. It was obsolete within a few months.
The first strength training forum I got on was misc.fitness.weights, and anyone who was around at that time knew it was THE place to be. Bill Roberts was there, Dan Duchaine, Pat Arnold, Rob Schuh... the list was endless.
Of course being usenet, it was uncensored, but in its own way, it was able to self-censor the most of the bullshit you see today. And it was well before the era of online sources so obviously there were no AAS scams but because statements HAD to be supported with scientific evidence, you knew the info you got there was accurate and in many cases, cutting edge. There were some epic flame wars but a lot of fun, too.
I still believe the freedom granted by usenet made it the BEST model for online discussion that has ever existed. But, I'm enough of a realist to know it's not viable anymore due to the sheer number of noobs, nutcases, and spammers we have today. I remained there until the demise of usenet and I posted using my real name which I'm not going to divulge for obvious reasons.

Get this, Mod. I've stated numerous times on this forum I don't care about reps, vets, status or any of that shit. That post number next to my name means absolutely nothing to me and neither does anybody elses. I wouldn't care if Millard reset it to zero. I don't want or expect anyone to take *my word* for anything I say. I always try to support the statements I make with evidence and if I don't provide evidence, I make it known that it's my opinion. I don't recommend or endorse sources, and rarely criticize them unless they are sending in shills and plants like UncleZ has done, or they are widely held to be scammers. I expect people to come to their own conclusions. I want everyone to base their decisions on the evidence, NOT because I or anyone with supposed "board status" said it. I realize status is important on the scammer boards but it doesn't mean jack shit on Meso.
I admit I post here a fair bit - certainly more than I expected I would when I joined. And sure, many of my posts are fluff just like everybody else's but I have also provided substantial commentary, if I may be so bold as to say so myself. I don't claim to be the end-all, be-all of knowledge but if I can give someone a push in the right direction or offer an answer to an inquiry, I'm happy to do it. But, I find it a sad commentary on Promuscle that you say you would ban someone who believes and as I do and contributes what I do - for post whoring. That says all anyone needs to know about promuscle and the quality of its membership.

I'm not really sour, I just don't like seeing anyone get scammed. And no, I've never been banned from any board.
And if you think Ben is sour because he got banned from Promuscle, you prove how out of touch PM has made you. Ben views being banned from PM, OLM, IMF, etc. as a badge of honor. He might come across as a bit of a boor at times, maybe a little rough around the edges, but he is as honest as the day is long. He's been in this game a long time and never sold out. The man has more integrity than anyone I've met on the forums. He knows this business better than anyone else and is an asset to the Meso community. I'm proud to consider him a friend. By banning Ben, Promuscle is the lesser for it.
Alin has more complaints than ANY other source. Sure, he's the biggest and draws more for that reason but the number goes way beyond that.
But you are still evading the original question: Why is Alin's feedback absolutely stellar on PM but abysmal everwhere else?
Since you won't answer, I will: It is because he is the biggest AAS sponsor at PM and PM protects their cash cows. To hell with those that get ripped off.

You got me. I'm a crook, running from my past. I know you're a longtime mod at PM, so you've known lots of crooks over the years. It only makes sense for you to suspect I must be a crook too - like a ghost from your long lost past that's come back to haunt you.
