Im ready for looters, couldnt figure out which girl to bring over, so i invited all of them. Each must bring Gas, Grass, or... You know. FEMA will show up in several weeks with some MRE's. Yech. Never want to see those again. Bought 2 bottle Scotch today, filled up the car. Going to be a screwed up holiday weekend.

I miss hurricane parties. I was in a central Florida college in the early and mid 2000s time frame. Lots of storm parties back then. The news was saying that alcohol sales skyrocket when a storm is going to hit down there. They showed an ABC store over run with revelers

Last hurricane people were going around and knocking on doors after putting tape on the peep hole. Since hurricane shutters were up you couldn’t see out the windows. Then they would come back by later and if the tape was removed they knew you were home and do a home invasion. Seen it on the news. I had all my shit loaded and ready. Stayed up all night with my ar and 12 gauge on the couch while the family slept. Fortunately we never had to cross that bridge.

I have a bad ass full home generator going in the new house. Won’t be without power at all.
