Has anybody here guys tried hydrolyzed collagen supplement. My tendons are pretty weak so I ordered some and started taking yesterday. Just wondering if anyone here who is prone to tendinitis (or weak joints) used it before and how were the results? I will share my experiences here on the thread later on with you guys when/if I notice any changes.

I’ve tried all kinds of drugs/supplements etc for aches and pains. What seems to work the best is working on mobility ,flexibility and avoiding exercises that aggravate your injuries/aches and pains. That being said I hope it works for you. Keep us posted.

I started taking the collagen protein from Costco. Also been running hgh, and my joints feel better than they have in a long time. I don’t know how much work the collagen is doing, but the difference is night and day. I also take a joint supplement, but the collagen/hgh has made the biggest difference for me.

Like @Oldschool said though, stretching and mobility exercises will help for sure. Supplementation after that is just going the extra mile.

digesting collagen is similar to digesting keratin for hair growth. It’s broken down by your stomach and doesn’t actually “go where you want it to go”. It may be used in the body but it won’t make much of a difference in the area you want.

It’ll be split up between all the areas that use collagen fibers (every connective tissue in the body) and won’t increase the collagen in your tissues. Most of it will just be processed out of the body. Same as keratin for hair growth. Collagen is used in so many portions of the body that if it even WAS USED it would be used in the connective tissues under your skin most likely. Not the barley vasuclarized Tendons/Cartilage/Ligaments

Hi, it seems that there is a difference between collagen and hydrolysed collagen, I readed (i dont remember where) that yes the collagen is undigest, but hydrolysed collagen is assimilated.
I tried it to recover from a severly elbow injury, and after 2week I was almost recovery :)
