Hypothyroidism vs. Hypogonadism

Based on some of my research Hypothyroidism can give the symptoms of Hypogonadism. Is this true?

If so, do you think my thyroid levels would cause this?

TSH T3 and T4 are all in the normal range.

What makes u think you suffer from Hypothyroidism?

If anything, you should be more concerned about Hyperthyroidism seeing as your levels are in the high normal range.

There's nothing wrong with those thyroid results.

If it bothers you that much, get a second opinion from another doctor.


How old are you?

Were all those tests taken in the AM?

I'm no doctor, but by the looks of things, everything seems to be in the normal range with not much to worry about.

tsh looks high. This is usually an indicator that the thyroid is pushing really hard to keep up. Have you started to do thyroid? The two disorders can co-occur.

A mainstream endo would probably say you are normal and wouldn't treat.

Your T3 is in the bottom half of normal. As Headdoc notes, your TSH is kind of high. Depending on your symptoms, a HRT or age management Doc might
try to optimize your T3 to the upper end of normal.

I am 29 years old.
I am not using Thyroid
All test were taken in the AM while fasting.

My mistake, I mean hyperthroidism. How is hyperthroidism treated? Would hyperthroidism give the symptoms of hypogonadism? Could a high thyroid lower T-levels?
