helped bring up 2 pitts in college, sleepy and bo. pitts get a bad rap, they're great dogs. good luck w/ yours bro. post those pix soon.

I got a Razors Edge blue Pit. He's short and compact. He will be a year in July and has a 22inch head and weighs 70lbs already. He's ripped and musclar. I'll post a pic after I get my new digital cam for fathers day.

My last pitt was a handfull and i had no choice but use a choker chain on him.
What do you guys do if yours gets out of line when there pups?
Also would a shock colar be better than a chocker chain if needed?

if they are getting out of line as pups than it is most likely genetics and you will be in for some work. Shock collars can be great but you have to be smart with them. Dont just throw it on and start shocking etc. There is nothing wrong with choke chains also. Start em off young and they will learn and it wont be an issue. An undisciplined pitt is much more serious

my male doberman had issues as a pup so he got to wear a pinch collar to his classes and that fixed him right up......these collars have prongs on the inside of the collar and when they pull or need correcting with a tug, it pinches there skin around there neck and releases the second they stop fighting.....i feel it is far more humane than choke and shock collars......

Pits are awesome. I have a 6 year old female. Absolutely the best dog I have ever had. Although, when she was a rebellious teenager, I did have to pin her to the ground and bite her neck a couple of times to show her who the Alpha dog was. :D

Choke collar - bad, pinch collar - good.

i have a pitt/ rottweiller mix named DOZER as in BULL DOZER nothing gets in this dogs way that he cant go through, over, or under, he always finds a way. looks like a big pitt bull weighs 93lbs and a great dog loves everyone. also have a pure bred pitt female she is a little shorter than dozer but still comes in at 78lbs and thats after we put them both on a diet to get rid of the winter fat. she is also very affectionate loves everyone. both are very athletic and if you ever seen or herd them play you would swear i was training them to fight. also both are very good with other animals, just love to play.

dude my pits are on steroids hahaha lol only bc its illegal for me to take them, and of course i dont want to waste them
