I JUST USED A DIRTY NEEDLE!!!

Ok, I was doing my normal injection of Test C, and after I filled the syringe and put it on the desk, I swabed my leg. Then by accident I grabbed the syringe I used last week and injected with that! I forgot to throw away the used syringe and it was sitting on the desk (with a cover)When I was pushing the plunger I thought it was strange that it wasn't moving. Upon closer inspection I realized I used a previously used syringe from last week. There may have been a little bit of air in the syringe.
Now I'm freaking out. I don't want to get an infection in the muscle. What should I do? I have some amoxicillin. should I pop a couple?
Help!

Actually I hope the needle was from last week and not 2 weeks ago. It was on ly desk and I just grabbed it instead of the correct one. I hope when I used it the last time I caped it quickly and didn't touch anything with it. I could see oil on the needle so it was till damp. Jeeze

Its shit like this that makes me want to star pinning once a week instead of every 3.5 days. Or Androgel

Just relax and keep an eye on it. Many of the old school bodybuilders reused needles multiple times. Greg Valentino even admitted to dropping needles on the ground, wiping them off then proceeding to inject for years before his arm abcessed. Odds are you'll be alright and have learned a lesson to ALWAYS dispose of used needles after use.

The used needle went into a sterile vial, where it then came into contact with benzyl alcohol, which means, you may just come out of this no worse for wear.

You probably have the ebola. If your testicles develop a bad odor over the next 24 hours, you're doomed. Try to sniff them every hour or so to catch it early.

Or infected himself with HIV :)

I mean if someone is going to pursue prophylactic measures go for the gusto
and use;
- at least two antimicrobials
- three antiviral drugs
- and four antifungals

At least then you KNOW you're "covered" NOT

The point HCP are stuck with "dirty sharps" on a daily basis yet "post exposure prophylaxis" is NOT indicated UNLESS the source is known, or suspected bc of lifestyle, to be at risk for certain viral diseases namely Hep-C, B or HIV

Call an ambulance.

You cant drive because your leg my get infected and fall off. Once the infection gets in and travels your whole body will get infected. You're skin will rapidly change colors and your brain will be infected, then it will stop working. You will be driven by your primal urges to kill and eat. As you attack people and animals they will get infected until it spreads throughout the world.

Call now!

A few thoughts...

- don't waste your cash on androgel
- sharps container should be used, something to segregate your used pins out
- hoping you don't have kids in the house
