Aspiration/PIP

Ya i was thinking i could just do glutes because I only inject 1cc 2x per week. Those seem to be no problem. I do have an insulin syringe and needle i could maybe use for quads or delts. But 2x a week only glutes isnt too often you think?

For Now, but over time they're will build up scar tissue.

Ok. Ya I just did glute. Im gonna try delt with 1/2” needle or bicep maybe. I’m almost kinda concerned its not going into the muscle just because it feels so much more smooth than my quads did. But then again my delts even felt better than quads. Man. Do you guys get like a ringing in your ears or something or kind of high blood pressure/dehydrated feeling after injection or day of? Kinda feeling it rn. I took HCG also. Just separate sub q belly.

Have never aspirated in 6+ years and cannot understand why it would be necessary outside of quads, which I suppose you could make a case for.

I haven’t aspirated in two years. If you use the recommended sites you will almost certainly be fine without it.

In over a thousand injections, I've never once aspirated either. It's been dropped from most medical injection protocols too.

Aspiration is a dated practice that is unnecessary and only lends to potentially additional trauma from moving the needle around.
How many times you gotten your flu shot or similar and seen them aspirate?
They don't even teach it anymore
I do always aspirate. Every injection.

One time I aspirated and I got something „muddy“ out of my lats. Never seen such thing - but been happy to not inject into it. So I left the right lat alone for like 6-8 weeks and now I am injecting there again.

Should've sucked that entire nasty abscess out!

You sir, had an abscess

Oh wow, never had one in a decade. Thank God it cleared itself.

I guessed it could’ve been one, but as I did not fell bad or something after penetrating it, I thought it was something else.

So thank god I did not get any problems !

I would keep an eye on it, make sure it goes down and dissipates completely and make sure you don't develop an infection.

If it wasn't a sterile abscess, penetrating it might release the bacteria and infection outside of the depot allowing it to spread.

If you start getting infection symptoms in that area or anything I would get to the docs ASAP for some antibiotics.

I had one on my delt a while back that I drained with an 18g, pulled like 6-7ml of strawberry milk out of it. After I did that, with discussion with some medical professionals, I found that this was a really risky move.
