I need thicker abs...I think

Squats and heavy standing cable crunches for me. I'm well above 15% BF, and still have definition in my abs. I started the cable crunches to get past a dead lift plateau based on some bro advise in the gym. Was surprised at how much it helped.

I'm going past what the cable crunches can deliver, weight is maxed out, I've added a 25lb plate, and now I have a hard time not getting pulled into the machine. And I can do 30 reps.... What's the next level exercise?

I'm near that point myself. I get a little more weight by facing away from the machine and bracing a glut against the bar and stack DBs on top of the plates. I like to twist to one side on the way down alternating each rep, then superset with straight ones.

Lying cable crunch is supposed to be a lot harder, but I haven't tried it yet. I tried declined DB sit ups, but they hurt my back.
