I received a seized package

I had two packages seized 1.5 -2 months ago. I received one seizure letter. And now have received one package in a envelope from the fda/customs that has “steroids” and “clenbuterol and anastrozol” hand written on it. I’ve heard if customs is backed up and they don’t get to “review” the seized package in court by a certain time frame that they have to mail it to sender. Anyone ever get drugs from the government? Lol pack is left unopened and set aside for now.

I'd leave it unopened, could be a sting operation, open it and you're busted...lol...just kiddin'...yeah, shit like that is known to happen, laws, regulations, protocol...call it whatever you want.

Yeah, it's kind of a sticky situation you're in. Anastrozol should be legal for import of a 90 day supply since it's FDA approved, but Clenbuterol is not, so it should have been seized.

It's hard for me to believe that it's a controlled delivery since they wrote what was in the package, on the package, but I guess stranger things have happened. If you watch "to catch a smuggler", when they intercept a package with narcotics, they don't write cocaine/heroin/meth on the package when they deliver it.

Ultimately, I would probably just chalk it up as a loss. Not worth the 10's of thousands in lawyer fees if you're wrong, but I'm not a lawyer so take it FWIW.
