Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I lying in bed asleep and it's like I'm awake and can't move. It feels like someone is on my chest and I'm pressed into the bed and I can scream either. It's like if I could move my gead to look around I'd see something evil. That's some scary shit!!

Glad to hear that(no offense) but I thought that only happened to me. Thats some freaky shit. I'll be laying and will feel a heavy weight on me,I can't move,can't say anything,and know its like a dream but can't wake up! this has happened many times, and it never fails....when I'm alone! Thats probably for the good cause I'd think my girlfriend was trying to kill me or something.

Yep, thats happened to me a couple of times....very scary just as you described..lying in bed asleep, suddenly I awake filled with inexplicable terror, frozen in fear, unable to make a sound, even thought I want to scream at the top of my lungs....
I believe in good spirits and bad, and I truly believe it to be a visit from the latter.....

When i was a kid it happend to me all the time,what it is your body is still asleep but your brain is awake,
your brain is not sending a message to your body to wake up,i found the best thing to do was not to panic just lay as calm as you can and your body will wake up in time,i know its some scary shit real scary when your 10yrs old,if it keep happening go to your doc,htey gave me meds to help but to this day it still happens but very rarely......good luck,gosh

I get it all the time. Thing is, it's not just that, i get all sorta nightmares too (i always dream that i'm fighting someone.. punching and kicking etc.), and sometimes it gets ugly. goshdarnep is correct, key is not to panic. I got so used to it i miss it if it doesn't come ..lol

.Kwik, i know some people who are like that (feel weak in dreams or can't run away etc.), i think it has to do with you trying to move your body for real while you're asleep (of course you can't, thus the weakness).

Same shit dudes. Used to happen alot more when I was a child, Had to mention though, used to have dreams that were the opposite. In those dreams I could fly If I could run fast enough and leap, I'd just miss the ground and take off like superman. What the "F",Therapist would love us. Had some dreams where I was terrified of something just behind me and could not run fast enough to get away like feet were stuck in glue or somthing, it kept getting closer and closer AAAARRRRRRGGGGG!!!!!!!! Save me !!!! I'm not kiddin. Whew! hav'nt had that dream in yrs. thank God. what do you think? maybe thats why we had to get all big and shit!! I'll beat up that old monster (that old graybass.)

Happened to me too, many frikkin times and it scared the shit outta me. I bought myself a silver cross and put it on a chain around my neck. Never happened since. Now i'm a firm believer.
