igf-1 and diabetes

Im not sure if this is the right place but i thought swale would have soem answers.
Im 28 diabetic since age 9. under good control. I've taken 2ius growth with nice results. Noticed i had to up my baseline insulin while on. I guess i just wasnt as insulin sensitve while on gh.
I was thinking of trying igf. I'm trying to learn more now. How do you think this would effect my insulin levels. And since it has sucj a short half life to think it would only effect levels shorty after injected?
I have alot more but just figured start there.

Sorry, I have no experience wiht IGF-1. It is not FDA-approved, so, until it is, will not.

The risk of diabetic retinopathy is dramatically increased by GH therapy. Words to the wise!
