Wasup everyone old and new?! Lots of new faces for sure. I have been safe and doing well. I also plan on starting a blast soon and getting serious about my training. New home, and super sober, rarely even drinking. Time to pack it on guys.

I have actually been cruising mostly for a while. Planning out my next cycle, diet, and training currently. Probably going to be test around 750 and something for size as I am naturally pretty lean. Might go for tren if we get moved into the new place fast enough. I already know I would wanna ravage the wife on that shit.
Also no gym nearby but plenty to work with so I have to build a gym as well. If anyone has any ideas for budget weights or machines that would help a lot. Basically on a farm so I can get creative.

The new home is a few weeks from moving in due to rain and bullshit government hoops to get everything going.

Welcome back and I appreciate the user name, also.

Check out this thread to maybe give yourself some inspiration.

Man as far as gym equipment goes, since covid the prices have been insane. I’ve been looking everywhere, including local sports stores, Facebook market place, let go etc. and every time I find a good deal I buy but it’s becoming very rare to find anything cheap. Plates are going for an average of $2 a pound right now.
What’s worked for me is just adamantly looking. Find a few apps and call around local places if you’re near any. Be consistent and you’ll start finding shit.

Welcome back [emoji123]

Resistance bands, buy some sand from Home Depot and some different sized duffle bags to create sand bags. Plenty of YT videos with tips on that. I also made one using rubber mulch to make it a little bulkier. Stability ball makes a check bench and works your core of you got dumbbells already or use the sand bags for that too. You can make small kettle bell type sand bags too.

I forgot to mention for bands I prefer the bodylastics brand and you can also buy a few extra their door anchors or the full door attachment they sell. This will allow you to do anything with bands you could do with a cable machine at the gym.

Welcome back and props to kicking the drinking, so time to go get swole again!

Congrats on the new home.

Work the farm. My uncle and cousins raised on a Dairy farm are some pretty thick lads. Up at 4, back in the house lil after dark. Even squeezing in another job. Tossing hay, and eating like a farm boy, all the right ingredients. I hope things work out for you. I'm jealous to be honest.

Anyone have experience using at home pull up bars? I do not want one to destroy or damage a brand new house. Seems like it would cause atleast some damage. I can pretty easily build one outside but inside I can use it a little more often.

I dont like them but have never used. My brother in-law was renting a room off us and had one. It marked up the door casing pretty good and some minor damage to the surrounding drywall, nothing serious but not sure how often he actually used.

When I was a teenager I had one and it caused no issues so a couple years ago I bought one thinking it’d be fine. If you’re over 200lbs you will fuck something up lol
It caused mostly drywall damage like you said so it wasn’t a big deal but it wasn’t ideal either

Thanks for the information guys. Its kinda about what I assumed. Guess I will build one outside or maybe make a stand up version for indoors. Could easily use galvanized pipe to build something.

I love watching fail videos of people falling off them when it slips [emoji1787]

I have a really good one that screws into the door frame that came with my house but I don’t use it because it’s too low and I hate bending my knees that much to hang.

Now I have 2 other pull-up bars cuz one is on my squat rack and the other is on my cable machine.

I would build one higher so you can just hop up and get your work done. [emoji123]
