IM needle sizes and common practices

That's interesting, I'll buy some 1inch to try. I do daily IM injections that are never more than .7ml. I don't get pip in my delts at all but a little bit in my quads and glutes.

Meh, quads if you’re very, very lean I might avoid going so deep but everywhere else yeah.

1” 25ga dorso glutes are GOAT and 5/8” for delts and quads.

I’m doing 1 inch everywhere which is pecs, side delts, rear delts and lats. 5/8 are good too but deeper just feels better for me.

I've been trying the 1inch needles and I've found that I get significantly less PIP/soreness in my quads with the 1 inch than half inch which is great! but when I do my delts, I get way more pip than 1/2 inch lol

Seems obvious in retrospect, not something I had considered since the injection was so trivial to me. I have some Nipro 27 and 30 on the way already.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on safe rotation and gauge for every day schedule if you have a few minutes.
I vouch for nipro.

an amazon shit 30g 5/8th slin pin hurts more than a Nipro 27g 1 n a quarter "

Using good needles is crucial if youre gonna be pinning yourself everyday you need to make injection protocol a no-friction ordeal

These are absolutely the sharpest 30g I've ever found - and they do not use EO gas (carcinogenic) to sterilize.
They use gamma irradiation which is semi-rare to find (rare to none on amazon are non-EO gas)

How is pushing 3 mL barrel of oil through them?

I tried to research some across the forums and saw a few posts that touched on this but I wanted a more direct opinion/poll from the guys/gals here.

I started on TRT and am slowly dabbling into more gear. I learned how to pin from my TRT clinic and I use IM injections with a 25 gauge 1” needle. My boy was in town visiting and needed to borrow some test so I set him up with my stuff to make sure he hit his dose while he was in town and looked at my needle apprehensively lol. He only uses a 29 gauge 1/2” needle.

I was under the impression that size was only for SubQ not IM. Then I started researching more about the effects of a larger needle and developing scar tissue over time from frequent pinning. Right now I only rotate between my left and right delts so I will add other sites into the rotation, but I guess my question is what gauge and length needle are you guys using to pin IM? Is there a universal standard that the community enjoys to limit the footprint when pinning to prevent eventual scar tissue down the road or am I just looking into this too much?

Thanks in advance.
My personal preference is a 28 ga 3/4” needle. It’s long enough for the glutes and not too long for the delts. Works great for mct and gso, gotta work for it with castor.

With MCT it's super smooth, I had some GSO that required too much effort and had to get 29g for that.
But it's the sharpness that is so crazy, especially if you draw with the luer on a multi-access spike.

might have to try it. always on the lookout for cleaner technique. vial spikes got a bad rep around here. Someone tested them and they leach plastic into the oil and can even fully dissolve the spike if you don't store your vials upright.

Yeah very true, good point.
I always keep mine upright of course, and I meticulously clean them before and after.
But for that thicker GSO, it was the difference in a 5 sec draw and a 5 min draw lol

Thanks for the tip about thin wall needles, never heard of them until now.

Unfortunately I have about a thousand 27g 18mm needles, a thousand 27g 40mm and a thousand 30g 13mm needles from good brands I got on sale. I'll be competing at the Olympia by the time they're finished.

I use 27g 40mm for glutes and lats. 27g 18mm for chest and delts. My weekly rotation is
1 left glute
2 right glute
3 left lat
4 right lat
5 half volume left half right chest
6 half volume side delt half volume rear delt, right delt
7 as above left delt

I have this because it fits my training schedule and adapt it as demanded. I avoid pinning a muscle that will get trained because very hard training will squeeze even GSO out and I get this bad PIP/soreness on a large surface area, and also because pinning it decreases performance.

For HGH, HCG, glutathione and the occasional peptide I use the 30g needle. I used to brew in MCT oil for a short while, then in pure EO, and used 29-31g for these oils but once I started using primobolan the PIP became unbearable, so I switched to GSO, and that is too thick to push through even when heating the syringe, I find the pressure I have to apply causes more tissue damage than using a 27g.

By the way does anyone know if there is any kind of device to help push the plunger?
There is no way your pinning chest
