I'm trying something totally different - check this out!!

I finished my cycle. On Wednesday (two days from now) will be the 14 day after my last injection and the day I should start my PCT. So I feel fine right now as far as sex drive, workouts, etc. i have some depression but I think circumstantial unrelated to steroids (women and kid issues need I say more). So the question is do I really need to run a PCT cycle?

i have plenty of nolva and clomid so not trying to be cheap or anything. I don't like the idea of using drugs that I don't need. At 12 days after last injection, plus the fact my last injection was only 1/2 cc, i would think it is mostly out of my system. I assumed I would have low t symptoms like lack of sex drive, etc. indicating the need for PCT but maybe I am wrong....
Did u ever get blood work to confirm that you weren't injecting the equivalent of used French fry grease?
Two weeks is not enough time for all exogenous test to clear your system. Pct is started at this time bc in most cases levels are falling below supraphysiological and back into a range that will allow recovery to begin. Again, if you had listened and gotten bloodwork you would KNOW whether you needed pct and if you were indeed shut down or not. How u feel is not a good guage of what's really going on, as has been shown time and time again. If you really want to feel shitty , if your test wasnt bunk, just wait it out with no pct. You'll more than likely bottom out test levels before your body can make much recovery and you'll go through the shitty feelings and lack of sex drive and plethora of other low t symptoms. I'm all for not using unnecessary drugs, but u skipped on the bloodwork that could have gave u the knowledge needed to make an informed decision on that.
 
So final update on this newbie cycle. I’m off testosterone about a month now. I did labs before I started and was around 500 and my labs taken last Friday show my levels at 700. I’m not exactly sure if it’s comparing apples to apples but I think it is. The first lab I took was a cheap $25 at a Low T center so not sure if they fudged it or have some way have trying to make it come out lower so they can treat me…lol. The lab I took last week was at a legit doctor.


My cycle was 10 weeks. In the first 5 weeks I went from 190lbs to 196lbs and had significant strength increases such as squatting 5x275lbs to squatting 5x335lbs (squats are probably my main lift to measure strength gains attributable to the testosterone). I also do Olympic lifting and presses and other exercises but don’t track that progress as well. Also, Olympic lifting is technique driven so hard to tell what is pure strength increase versus technique. The last 5 weeks of my cycle I made little to no gains as a result of my work schedule, lack of sleep, and lack of exercise (dropped from 4 days a week to 2 days a week of crappy workouts). I kept taking the testosterone though and didn’t lose anything I had gained the first 5 weeks.


So I came off cycle and dropped about 3lbs over the course of 3 weeks. I ran clomid and/nolva for about 2.5 weeks. My doctor who knows quite a bit about steroids really didn’t seem to excited about whether or not I ran the PCT. His comment was basically that it can’t hurt. I think Forum nerds get more excited about PCT drugs and HCG than anyone else. I did not notice any dramatic decrease in strength. I started on creatine about a week ago and jumped back up to 197lbs (a little heavier than when I was on testosterone).


Final conclusion, I basically cheated my old muscles back from 5 or 6 years ago and maintained them. Actually, I’m not even quite as strong as I was about 5 years ago naturally.

I got bloodwork before I started my cycle that had my test levels around 500 and then blood work 3 or 4 weeks after my last injection while still on clomid/nolva and my test levels were around 700.

The only evidence I have that I was not injecting myself with French Fry grease was the fact that my sex drive went absolutely psycho (3-4 rounds with a women in a matter of 1-2 hours), my weight increased from 190 to 196 and my squats went 5x275lb to 5x335 in 5 weeks. Those are the most measurable items indicating it was not french fry grease.

Your test was either fake or severely underdosed, or you have severely underwhelming training and diet. 3lbs net gain? My first test cycle was probably 3/4 dosed the claimed 250mg/mL and I still gained a good 18 lbs. And if you have a doctor who knows such a good bit about steroids why do u repeatedly come here for advice from us forum nerds? Finally, your fucking creatine gained you more weight than a test cycle? Gotta be kidding.... Your test was bunk. Idk what more proof you need.

You have the most crazy knee-jerk reaction to don't pay attention to details At all in my post. I was never trying to bulk. My program had 3 days a week of high intensity cardio wod's layered in with strength and lots of olympic lifting. My cycle was effectively 5 weeks. Thats it!! So in 5 weeks went from 188'ish to 196 and squat 275x5 to 335x5. Those are best metrics I have. I didn't try to go real heavy. Then I only worked out 1-2 days a week the last five weeks ate like shit and slept like shit.

A month after cycle my weight fluctuated between 193-196 and i'm steady walking around at 196 right now and just started on some creatine for 5 days now. So a month off testosterone and i'm walking around at same weight as when I stopped.

The steroids arent bunk. From well known online source.

My problem all along is no one on these forums seems tp be legit athletes. So hard to get cycle advice. Everyone on here thinks like bodybuilder or powerlifter and the only metric they focus on is mass gain or shredding not can i go win a spartan race, tough mudder or crossfit games n

Ppps. I have two vials of test cyp that i got at pharmacy on prescription. I'll try those next and let you know if my shit was bunk

So body builders and powerlifters are not legit athletes to you? Good luck winning your future crossfit championship I guess. And I know plenty of guys that can complete tough mudders , you don't need any gear for that. That's ridiculous. Facts are your pics showed little to no change. Your lifts are comparable to an intermediate natty lifter. And according to your own thread you spent at least half your cycle feeling like shit. What are you even doing steroids for?

I wanted to try steroids for fun and to check it out and see what they are all about.I was personally quite happy with my cycle. Not sure why you are hammering me. In 5 weeks I cheated my way back to same strength and size as I was when I was 31 years old (i'm 37 now). This is strongest i have been in 5-6 years and it's been a struggle to get my weight up over 190 and keep it there.

Like I said in my posts, I had fun and felt great right at about weeks 4-5, exactly around the time everyone said I would. This is once I figured things out, got off estrogen blockers, and my body adjusted. The weights felt light and I was having really good workouts. I can only imagine the benefits I would have gained had I kept with same routine the last 5 weeks. Unfortunately, work schedule and adult responsibilities messed me up. I'm just not at a place in life where I can prioritize gym time and sleep over other responsibilities (kids, work, etc).

Others can now read my experiences and decide what they want to do. Steroids are expensive and a hassle. But it was nice waking up after a really heavy workout day and my body not feeling like I got run over by a bus or in a fight like I do right now after my workouts yesterday.
