Implementing Chains to workout

Just thought I should post some of the positive effects training with Chains have brought me.

I've been using them for almost every workout I do and have seen some great gains. So I did a couple of one rep Maxes today to see where I'm at and how much I have improved.

Flat Barbell Bench- Before @ 325
now @350 a nice 25 LB gain.

Deadlift- 495 now @ 530

ATG Squats- 335 now @ 385

My deadlift may be a little skewed because I do have some back rounding But I'm slowly fixing that.
And my squat does have minimal Butt wink. So I'll be training with lower weight to fix my form issues.
But as of now I feel pretty damn good about these new maxes.

I also have been dosing 1 g elemental magnesium and 90 mg Zinc. Dont know if these have any effects on my gains but I feel like it might be helping me a bit.

I've never used chains but I would like to. Unfortunately my gym doesn't have any. I have used resistance bands tho with various exercises. Bench, Smith machine shoulder presses and so on. I did see good results from it. When I'm stuck on a plateau for awhile they will help me push through it.

I was fortunate enough to be given these chains as a gift. I really do enjoy using them and would highly recommend the use of them.
I've used Resistance bands before but never seen these types of results but it might be the fact that I have been using the chains everyday on every single workout.

I've used both chains and bands, the latter being a bit more commercial gym friendly. I've also experienced better carryover from the bands, I see lots of guys with the wimpy resistance bands that you might pick up at some sports store for example, which just don't cut it if you're stronger. Get some from elitefts if you're going to get a pair.

I'll make sure to check those out.

I would recommend getting a pair where the tension isn't crazy strong as you still want most of your weight coming from the bar weight, for benching the short band micro minis would be a good choice, they work good for deadlifting also and are cheap as dirt to boot. For squatting I would go with the Light long bands. They can beat you up quite a bit if used excessively as the eccentric part of the lift is sped up a bit. I like to program them in as an assistance exercise for 3-4 weeks and then swap them for something else.
