inject site infected?

both my thighs have an area about the size of my palm swollen about a half inch and hard to the touch where i injected this possibly dirty gear or a bad bottle. (brovel t200) i have only injected once in left, twice in right. pain is similiar to the day after some serious squats not a sharp pain, but a dull sore pain, but this is one week after injection (have stopped since obviously) my inject procedure is very clean, always use two diff pins, and alcohol pads etc. never had this prob with any other gear (all mex stuff).

someone mentioned to me that he once had a prob where after it was swollen, he stuck it with a pin and pulled back on the syringe and a bunch of pus came out.
i tried this with a 23g and nothing but a little blood when i started pulling the needle out because of the vacuum in the syringe. should i try a larger pin?

any other ideas? im freakin out here.

Go to the doctor, a week is too long and an area the size of your palm is pretty big. If you are running a fever that is another sign. It's worth a few bucks and a couple weeks of anti-biotics to save the pain of having both your legs cut open and drained...

hmm.........i did some slight fever symptoms for 2 days last week, but now i feel fine..........guess ill have to wait until monday and see if i can get to the doc.

bro, until you can see a doc start taking about 800mg motrin 2 X a day that will help lots with it being swollen. then see a doc

First do not stick it with a needle. You dont have any idea what you are doing and you are probably going to end up making it worse.

Unless it was red, hot and I had a fever I would not go to the docs. I have had knots from gear from up to 3 weeks. If you are highly sensative to BA that will do it to you. I would wait another week if it does not get better see the Doc.

it is not red or hot...........the fever symptoms might have been coincedental because someone at work had that also.

ive got some different stuff coming in, and will sterilize it.......how long do you wait before using the same spot, or should i switch to the ass?

shit bro, ok feel the area is it hot?if yes infection feel the lump is it hard? if yes infection and it needs to be drained or possibly cut out immediatly, are u running a fever?if so you need to go to the hospital know. if your not go to the doc and get on some antibiotics and hel drain it possibly, the reson you pulled out blod is it is either very far down in the muscle when it disputed or you just didnt tilt the needlecorrectly i once had to pull 20ml of puss out of my arm the night before a contest and 10ml the day after,believe the smell alone will make you throw up,

It sounds more like a reaction to B.A. instead of an infection... Watch the lumps for red streaks that may be emitting from the injection site.. If you don't see any and the lump isn't getting bigger..and you're not having flu like symptoms ...and running a fevor you are probably fine..

If the area is inflamed...don't inject into it.. If you have none of the above symptoms and still have a large red lump after about two weeks.. I would advise that you go to the Doc...

i dont know phreezer if its a dull pain, thats bad ba is more like a stinging affect,when i had an abcess in my shoulder it was dull that was the bad one and it was from tornel gear at the time,the arm and leg ones didnt hurt a bit, i could have drained emm my self but they looked too red , defiantly watch for the red streaks that means its spreading, and that could lead to some seroios troubles not too mention bills

From the symptoms above it doesn't sound that bad..the swelling is a bit much..but it doesn't sound like he's got any other symptoms... The thing is..no one is able to diagnose this over the internet..if it's really worrying him, He should probably just take PDP's advice and go see the doc and get his hands on some antibiotics..

If it were me..I might stick it out another week as long as swelling was the only symptoms that I was exhibbiting..

yeah its very hard to tel without seeing it, haha youd wait it out damn you got balls of brass dude, i have some pics of when i got my infection ill try to post em it shows me poulling out the puss with a horse needle and emptying it in a glass, im not sure how i didnt faint but i sure did throw up,im almost gagging right know, go tp the doc dude i had 12k worth in medical bills from those 3 fucking abcesses, and one fuckin trophy for the pain,

Keep an eye on it an be carefull.

Also why would you have to sterilize the gear you buy? Get better gear and dont worry about it. I wont use any mex crap.

not saying this is the right thing to do, but i had a similar lump on my ass, swollen and hard, wasnt red, hot , no fever , nothing and i felt fine. just the lump was uncomfortable. showed up like 2-3 days after injection, and also felt like a dull pain like from a hard workout. it stayed the same for like 3 weeks, and i started to get nervous, so i was all over the internet searching abcesses, from what others said, it may have been a hematoma, so i gkept looking into it. well after another week , i saw some really nasty pics of guys that had abcesses cut out of their quads, bi's and delts. NO FUCKIN WAY!!!! they cut the whole chunk out and leave that shit open with gauze in it. and were like that for like 2-3 weeks. i could not explain that kinda shit to friends, family and or work. so i got a 18 gauge pin, iced that swollen area and stuck it in the lump. pulled back on the stopper and started to get this thick redish, pink fluid, blood mixed with some fluid. pulled out like 20-30 cc of it. and it went down for the day. after a few days did the same and again in a few more days. got like a total of like 100cc's all together and it did go away. still have some scar tissue( this was last year.) and a little bruise like mark where the lump was, dont kow what it was ,cellulitis, hematoma , sterile abcess or what , just glad i didnt have to cut cut the fuck open. but it was from the gear i was using, good ol ROCKET FUEL from designer labs. that shit had a lot of BA in it.
