Injectable glutathione

Anyone a big fan? I’m aiming to reduce systemic inflammation as I taper off a stupid drug that causes the inflammation. Just wondering effectiveness and preferred dosage and dosage timing. I like hearing different protocols other than what you would normally find in a random inter web search. Thanks.

Not a glutathione user here, but I'm injecting 3g of NAC a day, which is a precursor to glutathione, and it’s really powerful. I wouldn’t recommend glutathione since NAC already serves as a precursor, and has its own antioxidant benefits over just taking glutathione.

If you want to optimize even further, consider IM injection instead of oral forms, and you might want to look into NACET (N-acetyl-l-cysteine ethyl ester), which is sold by QSC in raw form. It’s a more bioavailable version of NAC that can cross the blood-brain barrier, making it more effective.

i use 600mg Glutathione intravenous 2x week for liver health and general detox.
I find it in the pharmacy under the name ''TAD600'' or ''Tationil''.

I fucking love glutathione. I was using 100-200mg im ed with my morning hgh for about 3 months. It was great for inflammatory issues in general and my liver panel was the best it’s been in ages. That’s on the higher end of dosing but I didn’t feel the benefits at 50mg or doing 3x a week as I’d seen in other protocols.

Which panels would the glutathione benefit show up on? I haven't seen it do anything on mine yet at any dosage between 200-500 daily even.

I am planning on taking glutathione as well... first time. I admit I havn't finished my research, but from all of the information I gathered so far— for liver health 100mg/ed was the dosage (duration: unknown), going up to 200mg/ed (duration: only 2 - 3 weeks). 200mg was considered very strong, possibly causing IBS.

I see the bigger dosages used. I'm curious if those using bigger dosages may add more details.

@songsofpyramids were you drawing bloods to reference the impact during use? If so, aside AST & ALT, did you have GGT done? Can you also provide any more info, please?

@DeeX as far as "liver panel" that's going to show up on blood lab "Metabolic Panel" under AST & ALT markers. GGT is another marker (separate from Metabolic Panel) that may indicate liver health.

I tried sub q and it swelled and bruised, will try IM and see how that goes. Wondering if i should reconstitute with something other than bac water

Is NAC as effective at hyper dosing glutathione since we are relying on our body to metabolize NAC into gluta? I'd be curious to know the efficacy of running NAC vs just gluta by itself. Do you happen to have any good reading material on it If not I'll be googling it myself appreciate the rabbit hole though

I did a quick search but didn’t find any direct studies comparing NAC to pure glutathione. Honestly, though, I'd pick NAC over glutathione because NAC has additional antioxidant benefits. Taking 3g is already super strong—3.6g is the standard dose hospitals use for severe overdoses (like cocaine/acetaminophen), and they give you a single dose. So yeah, 3g daily (and year-round) is more than enough, in my opinion.
