Injecting into biceps?

They guys in the 90s were doing equally risky things to the guys now. Don’t let anyone tell you anything different. Again to bring up Dennis James, on one of his podcasts with Flex they were talking about SEO, and they were all doing crazy stuff. SEO in hamstrings, biceps, chest, shoulders. Everywhere. Then think about what Flex was doing with diuretics, absolutely hammering them.
oh Im not saying they were safer or anything. Honestly I was surprised to hear guys like fux even did blood work. SEO for competition is not the same as years of scar tissue accumulating due to injection practices. Diuretics also are not going to lead to a lack of definition by any stretch of the imagination, so while I wouldn’t come to any moral judgements about whether or not bodybuilding culture was better or worse, Im just saying something in the open has changed in terms of biceps if we look at Olympia champions then and now, and maybe injection practices have something to do with it. I wouldn’t even go so far as to blame the competitors because judging criteria does influence folks away from pinning certain places, and looking for other spots that are less important to the meta/win conditions

Yeah, agreed! Specifically biceps, you don’t see a lot of bicep separation this days. I do think that’s a conditioning thing though, perhaps also genetics? I don’t really know to be honest.

I don’t think it’s conditioning when you got guys like hadi, nick and Derek pushing the division. Hadi is absolutely gnarly conditioned, dome of the craziest conditioning in history of the sport I would say. Guys now are coming in with peeled glutes and hamstring definition that is frankly much better than before even winning pro cards out of amateur ranks with elite level conditioning (like Emiro), so I would be hard pressed to say it’s condition. Some guys don’t need it, like Samson, and maybe a couple top guys actually struggle (like Andrew jacked, with it, but now so many pros are achieving levels of conditioning that were unheard of before.

So In short i dont fuckin know what is going on either is it just the lighting hahaha

Mediphorm now comes to mind! I’ve never seen a before and after though so I don’t know if blurs the details. I hear a lot of old timers saying insulin too, but I always take what they say with a giant pinch of salt.
