Injecting

mid life crisis

Bro's,

I seem to have gotten in the habbit of slow injections, in that I mean slowly pushing the needle into the muscle, i.e., like 10-15 seconds for a 1" pin.

Anyone else do this? Or do you go just pop it in quickly?

I'm just curious as to why in the world you would do it that way? Have you ever seen a nurse or Dr. give a shot that way?

I like to pop it in real quick and sometimes I just slide it in real slow, depends on my mood and who is on the receiving end.

Docs and nurses are busy,,,Its so much a part of their lives they hardly notice or givce it any thought,,,I did have a dentist that took plenty of time injecting in my gums which was the only painless injection in my gums I ever had,,,Going slow with a larger injection(3cc's or more) might give the fascia a chance to stretch a bit rather than tear,,,Thats just applied logic,,,Has anyone research or anecdotal testimony to give???VDC

i started injecting slowly a while back when i got knots in my quads. now, all my injections are slow, and no knots in the quads.

i agree with VDC....either the facis has time to stretch or the oil is already slowly dispersing and doesnt cause the knot. whatever the reason, it works for me.

have a nice day

VDC and Joe,
You guys are talking about taking your time to inject the AAS. That's fine but the original poster is talking about taking 10-15 seconds to insert the needle, which I find a bit ridiculous.

I take sometimes longer than that... I ALWAYS seem to get near nerves and veins wherever I inject, quads, pecs, tris, glute... ANYWHERE. Like 5 times i've hit nerves in my quads, my whole leg went numb once. I take sometimes 30 seconds to push the needle in, but it's always painless, leaves almost no mark, and never knots, so i plan on doing it that way always.

I stick the needle in slowly. Maybe not 15 seconds slowly, but pretty slowly. You'll find no jabbing here.

I agree with Max Rep. I see no reason to take that long to penetrate with the needle. I have never actually counted, but I just now did a mock injection with just my hand against the thigh, and I usually take about 3 seconds to penetrate.

I mean heck, if I use a 22g, I would do the entire penetration and injection in about 15 seconds.

I inject whatever I am shooting pretty slow--about 30-45 seconds per cc--
Any faster and seem to bleed alot more

I also push the needle in pretty slowly too 5-10 seconds--- Personal preference really, there is no right or wrong speed---

As for max reps comments--- It also hurts alot more when the doctors or nurses give me a shot :(

peace
