Injection Site Bruising Using 25

Hello all. I hardly ever bruise from pinning... ever. Recently brewed some raws. Running trend 75eod. Cyprus 150 twice week. And eq 400 twice week.

Since I'm pinning a lot more than I'm used to I switched from 22s to 25s.

Whenever I pin with the 25 I get a pea sized bruise. Lasts a couple days. I have Watson cyp, so I pinned that with the 25 to see if it bruised as well... It did. There is no pip, infections or anything. It's just that I'd rather not look like a junkie around the boss and family etc. Anyone else had this problem before?

Should I get a box of 22s? I've got like 13 bruises. Like I said... I'm not worried about infection. They go away after a few days. I don't want my daughter seeing them. I very rarely got bruises from 22s. Seems counterintuitive

Go with what works for you man. If 22's leave less bruising and bruising is an issue, seems like an obvious choice. 22 is a fairly decent sized pin though. I'd worry about scar tissue with the larger needle but that's just me.

Agreed. That's why I bumped up to 25. Maybe it's because of the increased pressure at injection site because I'm pressing harder. I am used to using less pressure. I suppose I should chill on the plunger pressure. Come to think of it. . That might be it. Thanks for helping me think this one out bro. Will let you know if it works

How long are the 25g needles? Shorter needles like 1/2" or 5/8" that are used for SubQ injections would cause the lumps/bruising
