Is the muscle in the pocket of the hip bone. I twisted my waist trying to take a Pic and probably screwed up the perspective. Definitely VG though

I have been hitting this spot circled in red, i can't go higher due to the veins.
It's in between the red circle and that needle in the picture directly above.

That is about the right spot maybe a little higher but you're in a general vicinity

Okay pinned VG this morning. First thing I do is find the illiac crest with my thumb. It's the highest part of the rounded hip bone. Then I raise my leg and find where the femur (leg bone) sticks way out and put my index finger on it. The line between finger and thumb is one side of vg boundy.

Follow your hip bone forward about 2 inches. Those 3 points make the vg boundary.

Hard to see in the Pic below but for the right height, it's more in the belly then leg. It's above the line where the leg connects, about where love handles would be.

At first I felt like I was putting that shit right in my guts. It's a deep muscle with bone behind it. Nothing to worry about and takes 3ml easily. I'm fairly lean and bury a 1.25 needle no problem.

Bro, you're way too high up. The red dot in this very picture you linked is where you should be pinning and you're nowhere near it.

Could be man, but I'm right where my Doc showed me and dead nuts where this Pic shows that @Ateam2023 posted. Pinning it off and on for a year with no problem.

Honesty man you can Google 5 different pictures and they show the site anywhere from where the Pic below shows that I use to where to red dot is in the Pic you have, all the way back to the lateral dorsal glute. There's a ton of shit information on it. Pinning where the attached Pic is has been where I've been for over a year and been good.

I'm definitely not an expert and not trying to be so I'm totally open to info but most of what I've seen shows vg right where I'm pinning. When I first started pinning I was lower and had issues with hip pip. Since moving to where I pin now and where the pics below shown I've had no issues. Right in the front part of the pocket in the hip bone.
