Injury (sholder/chest exercises?)

Right before Christmas i f#&ked up my shoulder playing volleyball at the beach. I dove my right arm went down in the sand and the sand didn't give, my arm was basically forced up into the socket. At first it was numb, then incredibly painful. I'm pretty sure it's my rotator cuff and its injured because it's been over 5 months and it's still not right. Any way looking for good chest exercise. My decline and bench are not affected, incline i start to feel it (pain weakness) can't do flys unless weight is reduced. Anything up toward the ceiling or weight on the shoulder beyond parellel to chest. any inlput would be appretiated.

Before my surgery the only inclined chest work I could do was with DBs together with thumbs pointed up and elbows tucked. Seemed like as long as I concentrated on tucking the elbows I didn't feel the pain much.

You should get an MRI, though, and find out what's wrong. You could be making it a lot worse.

I know bro, soon enough, i'll prob end up going back to work soon and will have insurance. Kind of one of the downfalls of taking an "extended vacation". Thank you for the tip, I'll give it a go.

Good luck with it. Damn, an extended vacation sounds nice, insurance or no. Wish I had the balls...

Get an MRI. If the rotator cuff muscles (one or more) are torn, you'll get a ton of trouble in the future from that shoulder.
