Intermittent Fasting

Great results on 16/8 but you need much water because of the dehydration levels. You will first loose a lots of Water and then you detoxify your liver and burn fat.

Check also for Alternate and Long Term Fasting!
Stop! Detoxify your liver? I don’t think that’s how that works.

IF is good if done for short periods of time. If you make it a lifestyle insulin sensitivity will be a problem. I fasted with my diet for 2 years and looked absolutely shredded and the last 2 years I’ve been fixing my metabolism lol. Fasting is a great tool but if you overdo it you will crash, hard.
I once met a girl in the gym, she was mad shredded and very muscular, like Very fucking shredded. And I asked her what does she do, and she told me that is does IF 18/6 for many years non stop, and she said that she build muscles on if, don't know if she was natty or not but man, she was insanely shredded. And mad muscular. (but still feminin face and voice tho

So maybe you can build muscle on IF especially on gear

I started doing it a year ago more or less. Still doing it. I find it great. I can eat 220gr of protein a day while doing it and the rest more or less depends on how I feel. I like that I don't have to bother with breakfast and sometime if I feel that I want a cheat meal is fine because I have not eaten a lot of calories even half way during the day so I can still fit it into my macros OR at least don't go massively over board.

On a serious bulk it's probably hard to do it.. but I'll try and see how it goes after the summer.

On maintenance and cut I believe it's easier to diet with IF. One problem is if you have to wake up early. Due to my variable working schedule sometime I do earlies so I wake up around 4,30-5AM and I can't really keep the fasting until 12am it's impossible for me. So what I do is I start eating around 9am and finish eating around 5pm. It's not the usual 16/8 but well you gotta do what you have to.
