Hello all.


I’m 38, 6’2 and currently 280 pounds.


In my early to mid 20’s I was hardcore natty lifter (used Ephedra as it was OTC at the time, but no AAS) and all around gym rat – I was the big fat kid in High school and between 18-20 years of age I started hitting the gym hard and got very strict with my diet, lost over 100 pounds.


After flirting with a career as a model and as a male escort (just couldn’t figure out a way to do it lucratively ladies only, and I’m just not into dudes – not that there is anything wrong with that for folks who are), I went on to graduate school in my mid 20’s. Unfortunately, I turned away from healthy eating and regular daily workouts and started to eat like crap and I became and expert binge drinker during this time. Stress is a bitch and while I had a perfectly good mechanism in place to cope with it (the gym), I turned to drugs, alcohol, and food – biggest mistake in my life.


As you can imagine, in a few short years, I blew up like a motherfucker. I easily gained 110 pounds of fat over the course of about 5 years. I went from a 36 inch waist to a 54 inch waist to put this shit in some perspective. And to make things worse, when I finally completed school I found myself in a very high stress career sitting in front of a computer for 10-12 a day – it was very easy to get loaded at the end of the day and eat pizza to feel happy. So that’s what I did and my bad habits just continued on and on.


About 5 years ago, I realized that I had to get my shit together and the sooner the better. I’ve been working on my diet, exercise and addictions ever since. I’m happy to report that I’ve been able to manage my drinking for over a year – having the occasional 1-2 beers ever few months instead of 4-6+ beers every night as I would in the past. Also, over the past 5 years I’ve been making very very fucking painfully slow progress in the gym, but progress none the less. It was during this time I found through blood tests that my T was very low and I began researching TRT which further lead me into AAS research.


I wish I had been taking photos along the way as I have made a huge amount of progress over the past 5 years and especially over the past 1 year. I still have a ways to go to get where I would like to be, but I look good in my cloths, my waist went from a 56 back down to a 40, and I’m knocking on a 38 as we speak.


Near term goals (2-3 months) are to continue to gain muscle mass while slowing loosing body fat. Last summer I ran a lot ( at least for me) about 20-25 miles a week. My work out was 70% cardio and 30% lifting. As of last fall, I switched to 90% lifting 10% cardio in my workout routine. I’ve gained a shit load of muscle mass and strength over the past 5 months – and my waist is still shrinking! In about 2-3 months I’m going to kick into running again and switch to a 70% cardio 30% lifting routine (during this period I plan on lifting near my max weight for fewer reps in the hopes of maintaining muscle mass while cutting). My goal is to get to a solid 38 inch waist or better (big goal is 36) over the summer while maintain as much muscle as possible. Also watching my lovely man boobs disappear, slowly as fuck, but disappearing none the less.


I’m on TRT and I’m blasting short cycles of AAS with TRT between bloods. I’m in the middle of my second mini cycle and so far so good.


TRT protocol


150mg Test Cyp weekly

1000IU HCG weekly

1mg Amaridx weekly


Current mini cycle on top of TRT protocol (second cycle)


100mg Test PH eod (M,W,F)

20mg D-bol ed – (I was testing tolerance and took D-bol up to 40mg for a while but didn’t like the sides)

.25mg Amaridx as needed by feel



Prior mini cycle on top of TRT protocol ( first cycle)


250mg test cyp weekly – ( was concerned about long esters messing up TRT blood tests so probably won’t employ long ester compounds in the future, or if I do will only do so for first two - three weeks of 6-8 week cycle)

30mg Anavar daily – (Anavar was amazing for my cardio and I plan to run this again when I start up cardio and serious cutting in a few months)

.25 mg Amaridx as needed by feel
 
Nice man, I feel you on the drugs, drinking, and shitty eating, its far to easy to just slip into that to escape depression, the problem is when you're sober you realize what a piece of shit you are, atleast that's how it was for me, congrats on your progress broseidon, kkeep up the good work.

Also I wouldn't go to a 70% cardio 30% lifting to lose weight. Id go 60% lifting 40% cardio splitting that cardio into LISS cardio on off lifting days and HIIT for 10-20 minutes after your lifting session (if you are doing it right there is no human who can do HIIT for longer then 20 mins without screwing up lifting recovery) this will melt away that fat and you can still lift which is the best thing there is to do!

This. Words of wisdom right here. The logic here is that you want to make lifting the first priority to not only build muscle (which helps cut fat) but to eat away at your glycogen stores in your body. Higher glycogen is better for lifting. Then a HIIT cardio session after you've burnt through glycogen is going to be much more fat burning oriented.

My diet isn't where it should be as far as clean eating, but I've been making big strides, especially with the elimination of 1000's of calories of alcohol daily. Since I'm in a bit of a bulking phase, I'm prioritizing getting enough protine in - mostly through real food - chicken & steak. I try not to take in more than 30-60 grams of protine via drink supplement. Daily I'm shooting for 200-250 grams of protine based on my size. Eating as much raw vegetable, fruit, berries, as I can. Trying hard to stay away from processed grains, chips, sugar. But I slip, daily. Just not as much as before.

I'm not 100% drug free and don't plan to be. I've made a deal with the devil swapping a toke for alcohol. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I had a few beers a week ago after about 4 months straight not a drop and it didn't do anything for me, if anything it made me feel a little sick- which is a great thing. So I'm back on the horse after testing myself and feeling strong.

My workout schedule is not ideal either. Still very busy with work and family reaponsibities. As a result, I train 45 min M-F during lunch. Then about 3 days a week I'm free for another training session latter in the afternoon (1-1.5 hours if I'm lucky) and I'll hit cardio, core, or work whatever muscle group feels needs working. As a result of this schedule I'm the guy who gets into the gym doesn't talk to anyone works balls to the wall, but only for 45min straight, then I'm out the door.

To make the most of this schedule, I rotate muscle groups: chest day, leg day, arms day, shoulders day, back day.

Also, since I'm in and out so fast, I don't work out with a crew or have a spotter, so I've been very careful to slowly work up my bench Streangth and I've never tested a max bench or gone to an exhaustion point where assistance was needed - I do think that has held me back a bit. But I have been able to build up to benching 225 for 10 clean reps across incline, flat, and decline bench and I'm still making steady gains.

I'm going to take your advice on the cardio lifting split.
 
Toke here and there ain't bad when I read you weren't drug free figured you'd meant still on opiates or something lol but ya a lot of guys here appreciate bob Marley's favourite pass time. Good on you for doing what you need to in order to get your workouts in and trying to eat better. This place is a wealth of knowledge so if you can read up in the nutrition section and training form to get yourself to where you want :D

Besides plenty of colorful polka dot shirts, your "friend" is going have to be cool with taking it in the ass from a bunch of nasty rich men. That is if your "friend" wants to start a 401k with all the truffle butter loot he will be making. Lol.

It was the late 90's when I was last in the game and maybe things have changed. But there's just to many dudes who'll fuck chicks for free - it's really a shame and cuts into a lot of potential profit.

I blame the Internet too. Seems like there was a fugly girl, fat girl, and MILF / Granny market out there in the past. Now most of porn you find is that exact some shit. So you have all kinds of guys who are desensitized or maybe oversensitied to those groups of women and are DTF at the drop of a hat because that's the same shit they've been jerking off to anyway for the last 10 years.

If your friend really wants to go for it. I'd recommend finding and grooming a rich older woman, basically make her your sugar momma. Then, and this is delicate part, you need to talk her into pimping you out all her other rich girlfriends who need dick. Make a small self sustaining pool of 4-10 women, who all know the deal and all know your woman is the Primary. That kind of set up can bring in $$$ and last for years.
