whats up guys? New to meso but I've been lurking long enough that hopefully I have all the rules down and don't do some dumb noob shit but feel free to let me know if/when I do.

Here's my deal, 31 years old, 5'10, 230 lbs. been out of heavy lifting a while (years), just got back in and am wrapping up a 12 week program. At the outset, I could barely bench 225 comfortably and next week I'll be looking to max around 325-335 and squat around 500 (ideally?) so the muscles came back decently, and now I'm wanting to do the program all over again, but do it with a cycle to get my body back where I really want it to be. Focusing on leaning out.

I have been, and will continue to do a lot of research to figure out the "what" and "how" of my first cycle. I've looked at most of the stickies (I feel like) and I don't see anything that breaks down all the different options and what their inherent benefits and downsides are. I'm trying to build my first cycle, and looking for the best place to get that info. Would your recommendation be just searching all the first cycle threads or is there a compendium that explains which options are best for bulking vs cutting, why you'd use oil base over water, what's in the mixes etc, or do you have to search down each question?

I'll try to do as much of my own searching and reading before coming at you guys with questions, I know when you're on a forum how annoying it is to have 100 noobs ask the same questions.

What I've read so far is awesome, you guys are a great and supportive community, I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks

Welcome to Meso man. First cycle is easy, test only for first run. You need Ai & serms for pct and possible gyno. Lots of info here to dial you in. GL

Thanks lightspan. Fellow bike enthusiast maybe? You'll note, my avi is not in fact a cbr900, but it is a Honda.

If you're looking for pretty concise information on each compound, steroid.com has pretty complete and easy to understand descriptions. I recommend you ignore all adds/forums, and just go there specifically for compound "definitions".

But you can't go too wrong with a simple test cycle.

Welcome cbr900.

What bike you got then? I got a 2006 R6s it's my baby

Mine is a 79 cb750 I rebuilt with CB 900 guts, put a '98 gsxr front end on it and I'm looking to put a monoshock cbr rear swinger and suspension on it this winter. Building bikes is my favorite thing to do to make the winter fly by. When I'm not lifting. I can't imagine an r6. After rebuilding the motor in this heavy old bike and cutting some dead weight it pulls crazy hard above 7500rpm, I'd kill myself on an r6. If I can sell the CB, I'm going to build a hard tail v-twin.

@Str8Shooter thanks a ton. I'd imagine that's just what I'm looking for although the the quick majority is lining up to be simple test for the first cycle

Thanks guys

All the research will be good for you, comparing your goals, comparing sides, thinking about the pros/cons of this and that, but what it will boil down to in the end, is the simple test cycle is the best "all around" solution.
If you want to do things as right as you can, this community can give you quick and easy information for getting inexpensive bloodwork, so you can get a "baseline", and a mid cycle to see how you're doing. I didn't get a baseline myself (I go to doc regularly) but I'm getting a mid cycle today to see how things are going.

Nice bike them. Here's mine.. All wrapped up for winter now.

Anyway. Welcome buddy. You will come across lots of helpful and knowledgable members here, some big chaps too. But as far as I know they don't bite

Take care

I actually just got blood work recently because my dad has a shit heart and I wanted to make sure I wasn't dying at 31 without knowing it. The paperwork the doc sent me only had cholesterol and triglycerides etc listed in it, actually just checked it. Looks like it was only a lipid panel, so I doubt it rest of my levels tested too right?
Well it looks like I have some research to do, then I'll come back with the educated questions (who knows my research could make my questions dumber than if I didn't read up at all. Ha)

Welcome to meso bro. Seems you have alrrady got some solid advice from @CdnGuy an @Str8Shooter!!!!

@Big_poppa_Bren thats a slick ass crotch rocket you have their brotha. Ive always wanted a Kawasaki 1100 myself but now that I have a family I feel that its time to play it safe.

My dad almost died on a motorcycle when I was 6 or 7yrs old. Now he lives the rest of his days in a assisted living facility smh. I dont ever want what happened to me with having to grow up without a dad, happen to my kids ya know???

Anyways that is a bad ass piece of equiptment you have their brotha....Please be careful!!!!!!!
