Is a puffy/moon face really unavoidable on test?

also to answer ur question imo its just uncontrolled e2, maybe too much carbs? Do u have this problem with test p aswell? Something more stable than E or C
 
How does that affect water retention?
The delivery method of any drug can dramatically change its behavior once ingested.

And it isn't just bioavailability or the strength of the drug. For example, LGD is quite tolerable when taken orally, but wrecks blood lipids beyond much higher doses of testosterone when injected.

Some anabolics will cause the muscles to hold onto copious amounts of extra nitrogen/water/minerals, probably causing a slight mechanical advantage with the extra sarcoplasm and increasing strength a bit.

Gaining fat is most certainly required for natty lifters to gain muscle unless they're making noob gains.

But honestly, you can recomp while gaining strength on AAS unless you're beyond your genetic limit, or close to it. Something like anavar or tren causes acute strength gains because of sympathetic nervous system stimulation. When you're body is consistently moving much higher weight than it's used to, while simultaneously utilizing more favorable nutrient partitioning, it has no choice but to build muscle. This happens even at maintenance, as long as you have the bodyfat for a recomp.

Water weight is not required to build muscle, lol. And most people (depending on where they are in their training) can build muscle without noticeable fat gain. Depending on body composition, many will be able to build muscle while losing fat, unless they're seriously lean. It's a slower, less efficient process, and less than ideal if you're simply trying to add as much muscle as possible. But if someone's goal is to look great year around, it's foolish and outright asinine to suggest it's impossible to do so while building muscle, especially since so many natties do it. Bulking to 12-14% bf then cutting to 8% bf while maintaining most of your gains is quite doable as a natty, which means you should be able to gain more muscle while gaining less fat as a PED using trainee.
