Is ethyl oleate currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for injectable use?

Wikipedia
says no (uncited), but links to work by Laposata:
"FAEE were found to uncouple oxidative phosphorylation in isolated mitochondria a and to increase the fragility of isolated pancreatic lysosomes. In addition, studies from our laboratory provided the first demonstration that FAEE in a physiologic particle, low density lipoprotein, can exert a toxic effect on an intact cell. We demonstrated that FAEE within LDL can reduce the rate of replication of HepG2 cells and decrease their rate of protein synthesis. We subsequently demonstrated in vivo that rats receiving FAEE in reconstituted LDL, at FAEE concentrations which are physiologically attainable (10-30 gM) after ethanol ingestion, showed toxicity for pancreatic acinar cells after a single infusion. Taken together, it is now a compelling argument that FAEE contribute to the toxicity of ethanol abuse."

Water-Insoluble Drug Formulation, Second Edition is cited to say yes:

Ethyl oleate is not currently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any injectable use. However, it is used by compounding pharmacies as a vehicle for intramuscular drug delivery, in some cases to prepare the daily doses of progesterone in support of pregnancy. Studies which document the safe use of ethyl oleate in pregnancy for both the mother and the fetus have never been performed.

Aint that the way DNP works?

Why risk it?
MCT instead
It may not increase solubility like EO does,
but MCTs are proven safe.

The pharma grade test cyp from spain (testex) contains EO among the excipients.. in eu is approved.

I've not seen anything that suggests it's approved for injectable use although some compounding pharmacies use it for PRG injections (and there was a FDA investigation into it due to stopper particulate found in the solution).

That's exactly the way DNP works. Hopefully we won't have a bunch of guys trying to stack EO with their gear as part of a "cutting cycle".

I agree with this completely. Laposata's early papers would seem to give cause for widespread concern. I'm mostly confused as to why this does not seem to have come to pass.

Fuck EO! Id much rather just use Miglyol to achieve thinner gear. Its amazing and none of that bad reaction shit it seems like half the ppl who inject EO get...

EO is in pharm grade Testosterone Propionate 50mg too, Farmak , Ukraine ( and must say that this is the best propionate ever , personaly injected 4ml many many times without any problems )

I figured. And it most likely "seems like" so many ppl get reactions because the bad ones are the ones who always talk about it. I'm still a fan of the mig. Cheaper than EO too.
I was on a mission a while back in finding a source of Miglyol 840. Never found one. Is it available anywhere in less than a drum?

I haven't got a reply through email on who to send funds to. Is your email pretty backed up?
