Is HCG enough

I’ve been on TRT for two years. Did small cycles twice in that time but currently running 200mg per week for the last 4 months. Looking to the future to regain fertility. Wife wants more kids. Would HCG alone be enough while running 150-200 test E a week to regain fertility or is it better to come off completely and then run pct and Hcg. Note my natural total test level was under 200 ng/dl at 29 years old before going on trt. Rather not come off if possible.

HCG does retain your fertility somewhat, but it obviously won't be as good as baseline off TRT. However, since you are not running it, definitely add it in to keep your testicles going. Once you decide it is time to start regaining fertility, your best bet would be to come off TRT. If you don't plan to stay fertile for long, you could try running just HCG (and perhaps HMG), and see if that is enough. If you want to be fertile for longer, or the HCG and HMG is not enough, then you have to do a PCT (I would recommend enclomiphene).

What do you think were the reasons for your low T pre TRT?
Runs in the family unfortunately. At 21 I had it tested due to no energy and it was 105 ng/dl. The dr put me on clomid for two months and got it back to 300 and left it at that.

Wife and I are gonna try for another kid sometime next year. After that we’re done. Original plan was to slowly back off and then run PCT. Once The kid is here or we give up trying then get back on. Starting reading on HCG and thinking different ways now.
