Is HGH worth it?

I've been reading up on HGH and it seems like the bang for the buck just isn't there. Is like to hear from folks 40+ about their experience, good and bad.

I keep reading about the hair, skin, and sleep benefits. But the carpal tunnel, daytime drowsiness, and only "subtle" impact on physique combined with the cost really make me question it.

I can get a decade's worth of test for 6 months worth of HGH. Can anyone convince me that the juice is worth the squeeze?

Good question. I’m wondering the same myself.

I started Gh at the beginning of January so about three months ago for the first time. I’m 41 almost 42. Plan was to start at 2iu and work up to 6iu while I’m on blast which is happening now then go back down to 2iu while on trt. The reason I decided to finally use it was my age and desire to use lower dosages of gear and maximize results.

I’ve always heard it’s not like a transformative thing that you should expect especially at the dosages I am running, so I am reserving my ultimate judgment until I’ve run it about a year.

But… since day one Gh has made me feel like shit. Extreme fatigue. Working up to 4iu was like if I didn’t know what was causing it I would literally seek medical attention. And 4iu will be my max, there’s no way I’m increasing my dose at this point because I can barely make a fist with both hands depending on the time of day. I don’t have a desk job and it’s unsafe for me to be fumbling around with my hands. It’s dangerous.

So I seem to be pretty sensitive to the sides. As far as benefits, my hair does look better. Skin not sure. My sleep was better before I started using it. My physique looks really good right now. People are definitely Myron. But hard to say if that’s the Gh or the other shit I’m on. Guy told me today at the gym I look “magazine ready”. So maybe it’s helping. But I’m also taking other shit right now, as well as slin pre-workout which I’ve never done before.

So far I’m kinda disappointed but I’m not ready to give up on it. I can say though, that if I always feel this way on it no matter how long I run it I can’t see it being worth it. I feel like hot shit.

Yeah my experience this far is about identical. I’ve been on a little longer tho. Most positive affect so far has been recovery for me but my overall sense of health has felt poor since day one tbh. I keep trying different brands because of the good reviews I’ve heard so well see. Funny only time my hands swell is when working out.

So in keeping with the Ferrari analogy above, GH treats you like a Ferrari sitting in the garage leaking oil everywhere.

Not really getting sold on HGH here. I just want to look decent, feel great, and minimize any health impact. In my head HGH has such promise, but the realities seem to be very different.

Lol. I bn on gh for like 6 months. Sleep is crap. Numbness isn't an issue now.
I've never bn so lean and vascular. Ita nice. I'm goin to drop down to a cruise dose with generics within a month and see if I can maintain benefit and get rid of side effects. We will see

Yeah going too high too fast is absure fire way to fuck anything up. Hgh is great and it has some se's which hit aome.harder than others. My first time I gained 9#s in days and hit the cts shit hard. Now later in cycles i have lost or maintained and barely piss at night at times. Im 37 as an aside, my 63yo buddy started for first time this last yr at 1iu every other day and he loves every part of it.

If the cost doesn't affect you in any way then sure there is no reason not to use it at a reasonable dosage. Don't expect much though.

Been running 2iu for almost 2.5yrs now.

Sleep is great, I pass out and explosives don't rattle me.
Skin looks great, need that at 48yrs old.
Hair grows back pretty quick, need a haircut weekly now.

I do get very tired during the day and drag a bit around noon, so I've been trying to adjust my dosing to see if that'll help (used to do 5 on/2 off).

How long you been running it?
What dosages?

I feel like shit and have since the very first day. I’ve only ever used between 2-4units which I thought wasn’t much.

IMO yeah cost wise it's worth it, obviously it's all about how much disposable income you have though. If you don't mind flushing a few hundred dollars down the toilet then give it a try.

The side effects can be brutal. The carpal tunnel was the worst, but I already had carpal tunnel before starting so maybe that was just a dumb decision and I shouldn't have tried it at that point.

I didn't have any lethargy or appetite issues. I did feel like I slept better. I was using a pretty high dose for a while. I would absolutely go back and do 4-5 IU a day in the future at some point.

So 2.5 years in and still dealing with feeling tired in the middle of the day.
I was hoping when I go back down to 2iu perhaps some of the fatigue I’m getting would subside. For me it hits like 3:30. I can’t even look at a chair or by some black magic I open my eyes and I’m in it nearly passed out.
So if its been over two years, why stick it out and stay on? Just for the skin and hair? I’m hoping for more than that. Not that I hate those things.

My only experience has been from a local pharmacy (not online). And im still trying to way the pros / cons to see if making the switch is worth it (given un-wanted sides). I have not had negative sides from pharmacy hgh (yet), and yes i have pushed the dose higher "occasionally" but never on beyond a constant week was it high (2.2iu+), did the occasional 4iu in one injection and split very rarely 2iu/2iu. mainly stayed betwen 1.2-1.7 (daily) or the 1.2iu split (same day) (with 125mg test e) and did get the recovery/healing/fat burning. never felt sluggish (in unwanted scenarios), never saw water retention, i did have a really lean diet and did so much cardio (sprinting to fatigue). (because those other people stayed at higher doses for weeks+months).

Some consider these doses a "low dose why even?", well the most obvious is the healing factor. I microneedle weekly and the gym intensity/recovery was more than obvious. And before i started pharmacy hgh, the healing time after first "low" doses was noted. Endurance was noted. (unfortunately i did not do a blood serum test of hgh or igf).

Just becoming aware that not everybody here is competing and making money by using these substances, the large doses is understandable but im not competing, my respect to those pushing the boundaries.

Because getting rid of water bloat in the face/body ide have to do some fasting and dedicate more time to the gym which i dont have til october. I dont think getting rid of water bloat is as easy as stopping hgh, depending on how severe and where the water was deposited.

Imo, HGH is worth it, from a subjective point of a view, there is a dose ideal to meet the expectations one wants to get out of this peptide.

Just to clarify, im not in my 40's

My apologies I didn't clarify; I've been dealing with the low energy probably the last 6 months. I was running HGH at first every 10 weeks (10 weeks on/2week break/10 weeks on) then since I had so many kits I went 5 on/2 off with 2iu. I feel the fatigue set in after a 10 week blast of HGH/CJC with Dac/MK-677/Peg-MGF so maybe the overload of that run may have started it (I did this blast 10/2022 so not very long ago).

About 6 mo was on 4iu gen black tops. Now I’m at 3.6iu geno/Turkish contiplating trying serostim An titrate slower maybe I dono. For me it’s not the sides I really don’t think I have any bad “sides”. I just generally feel like shit I guess that’s a side tho

Can anyone quantify the weight loss boost that they saw with HGH? How much weight loss at what dose?

Still not really seeing the allure with running HGH. Why pay for the chance to feel like shit? I can down a 12 pack and achieve the same result.

I do look very good. My waist line is extremely tight, even more so then it has been in years but it’s hard to say if that’s the Gh working or diet and other stuff. I stopped heavy barbell training after my gym closed during Covid, and last year been training more with machines.

Like I said I’m withholding judgement until I’ve run it for a while. Especially at lower doses while just on a trt stretch. But so far I’m wondering what people are raving about.
However, if I continue to always look better than I did before that would make a strong case for continued use.

Are you taking generics or pharmacy?Trying to piece it together, sorry

I’m taking the Chinese generic stuff. Saying not cost prohibitive for me it’s just I’m surprised by the severity of sides vs. unclear benefits. Like I can’t say for sure how much it’s doing for me.
