Is it time for TRT? Clomid not bumping me up much anymore

I'm not against TRT for life if that's the only option. I just happen to have an endo who's a complete fucking idiot and RX pusher, as opposed to one who doesn't mind doing some detective work to see if things can be changed through alternative methods.

I'm already on synthroid for life due to cancer and just want to limit the "lifetime" drugs I'll be required to take. My current endo looked at the numbers and threw the obligatory 200ml biweekly plan at me when I started. And I, not knowing any better at the time, went along with it until I found it was better to pin at least 1x/week. It was a royal pain in the ass just getting him to let me self-administer.

Hoping this new endo will be open to different protocols for both my thyroid meds and HRT with HCG and AI's, but I'll have to wait and see. The new endo is a woman, so I'm not sure what kind of experience she's had with male hormone replacement. If she's cool, and is actually willing to help me dial a tailored TRT protocol in, I'd be fine sticking with it.

Seriously, I read your post and truly appreciated your response, as I have many times. I think you being younger than me, and the fact you've been on TRT, made the response shortened. I did address why so many on here, via a question, as to why so many on here start, or go on TRT for a few years and then want to get off it. I think at my age, once I go that route, it will need to be for life.

Going forward I have decided to up my dose of clomid from 20mg, every 3 days to 12.5mg EOD, as that will slightly increase my weekly amount from about 40mg to 50mg. Test in three weeks. Keep in mind, that for the past two years, I have been doing 2 months on Clomid at this dosing, with 1 month off it. My plan now is to continue this, but during the one month off, add 200IU of subQ HCG. I've read a lot about this priming for the testes for being kore receptive to Clomid. I know one month on HCG, will not bump up my T that much, but my thoughts are when I cycle back onto the low dose Clomid after my break, it would be more affective.
You can try Tamoxifen (Nolvadex) instead of Clomid:

No worries mate. Good luck with that. Personally I have a very low tolerance for clomid, so would not be able to do what you have planned.
What was the reason why you stopped taking Proviron?

Thanks very much. The second study Effect of lower versus higher doses of tamoxifen on pituitary-gonadal function and sperm indices in oligozoospermic men. - PubMed - NCBI gave me exactly what I wanted to know. 5mg per day of nolvadex is just as effective at increasing testosterone as 20mg day. No doubt side effects with this dose would also be less. I will have to give it a try before going back on TRT.

So I'm into week two of taking approx 20mg EOD of clomid and all I have to say is F*** this nasty evil sh** about ready to run and jump off a cliff. I won't, but just sayin. Today I was feeling down, girl wanted sex and I couldn't get it up with 100mg of Viagra in me. Screw that.

I ordered the proper supplies and will be making a trip to my local feed supply store for some syringes.

I plan on doing my first cycle of test only. Gradually increasing to 500mg testC for 12 weeks and then just cruising.

No way in hell im living on Clomid anymore. Raises you testosterone, yeah, sure and ruins your life while doing it.
