Is my dr trying to f#*k my hormones?

Just out of curiosity, how would you use HC to effect the window of healing without shutting yourself down, if you had no Medrol available?

Personally I think I'll just keep pushing for the GH, cortisol sounds riskier. Being injured sucks though.

Just as an aside, does anyone know why you would be slower to recover from injury after going on TRT (testosterone only)? I know I'm not imagining this.

You would have to take a lot of it and often.
I`ve never heard that injuries are slower to heal on TRT.

Sorry didn't explain myself well at all.
What's happening is my legs are constantly sore and tired and tight.. when I did lunges today I could feel my hammys straining, not wanting to stretch, not supple at all. Going for a jog yesterday my calves just blew straight up, felt like lactic acid straight away and I never got that kick where all of a sudden you can run forever.. just pain from the get-go.
I don't know if my upper body is the same because I havent been able to train it hard (the rib).
This has been going on the last 10-14 days. I'm on primoteston depot only, can't get hcg because the world ran out apparently. I think I may have strayed into the territory of supraphysiological too, felt a bit over and beyond what I usually do on it last week.
Could the testosterone be shutting down my nuts from making some other hormone that keeps my muscles supple? I appreciate any time you have for this zkt, I feel like I'm another injury waiting to happen.

"Not aware of any.
Maybe you are overdoing it a bit. I tend to do that.

From what I'm reading in these forums, it's a lucky man whos hormone problem has a simple solution. After I read your post I skipped my scheduled dose and waited... over just the last day symptoms have all but disappeared, and rib feels substantially better too! Thank you very much zkt.

Evidentally you can have too much of a good thing.

This is just an N=1, but for me T3 caused me to pull muscles left-right-and-center, and I lost about 20% of my strength on a cut where I did T3+clen. I also have read that one of the things about some steroids and growth is that the muscles grow fast, but the connective structures do not. As a result you are at a higher risk for strains, sprains and all that good stuff because your connective tissue is not up to the strength your muscles have developed.

I haven't taken the time to look up a research article, so take what I say with a grain of salt. I could be totally wrong - but it might be something for you to research.

I can't say for sure what caused the injury, but it seemed to stay aggravated when my testosterone was up too high. Also I just could not produce energy for harder cardio (boxing etc) in the gym, my muscles would just burn straight away and never kick into gear. It's as if being that high in testosterone just would not let me catabolize. I'm only supposed to be taking a replacement dose but just got greedy I guess.
Cutting back has helped immensely, can train hard agin and rib is a lot less tender.

I'm not sure what you're saying with regards to T3, would overdoing the test result in a spike in that?

No, I didn't know if you were doing T3 at the same time as the test. I did some T3 once upon a time with only Androgel as my test. I lost a lot of muscle/strength from the T3. Too much T3 with no AAS can lead to potential muscle loss.
