Is once/week Beta Hcg enough to keep testicles active?

I cant tolerate beta hcg for some reason so the 3x per week fertility protocols are brutal for me.

If you are on the trasdermals (gels) which dont necessarily shut you down as hard as injections would one beta hcg injection per week be sufficient to keep the testicles going and then when one wanted to have kids they could discontinue the transdermal ramp up the Hcg (2x-3x) per week?

I figure this might be better than NOT doing Hcg at all. And i can tolerate it at once per week.

I figure its better to keep the testicles somewhat active (versus leaving them dormant for months) and then when I actually want to have kids they can hit the ground running and arent completely dormant.
