Is this a controlled delivery?

So I ordered internationally from basic with stealth, and the order was split into 2, (one with the AI and the other with the test). The one with the test got seized even though it was stealth, and I never got a love letter.

So I asked for their extra discreet option for the reship to ensure no issues as I have no other address to ship it to. So I would think there would be no way to know what it is.

Anyway I live in apartment building and anything that doesn't fit in the mailbox always get's left on the ground around the mailbox. Like there's literally 10 or more packages on the ground right now.

When I got home today there was a "sorry we missed you" thing on my door. Now while I have gotten these once in a blue moon(I'm guessing when the mailman actually does his job) it just seems weird that this particular package of all the packages I've ordered needs to be hand delivered to me and someone needs to answer the door to receive it. Usually worst case scenario they just leave it at the door.

I used a fake name so I don't think I would be able to pick it up from the post office. Should I schedule a redelivery? Am I just being paranoid?

Thanks in advance.

I've ordered many times from them and it's never required a signature before. I just checked the tracking on it and looks like it is says it's registered mail. I thought you should never sign for a package like this as it's a sure fire way to get busted. Thanks for pointing that out though, so I'm going to email the source and see if they are the ones who required the signature.

Its not a controlled delivery. The issue is with Int pkg's you having to sign or not to sign for the pkg isn't up the source and actually can vary from region to region. You used a fake name so you could be hit and shit out of luck.
To pick up at the PO you will need an ID that matches the pkg.
Your best bet is to schedule to have it redelivered and hopefully the carrier will just leave it with the others. Probably not gonna work though as they didn't leave it in the pile today.
If its a smaller town you may be able to call your local usps and try to get a msg to your carrier that you are out of town but that you have a house sitter. Ask to please have the pkg left with the sitter..you,,,and sit and wait. If you've got some game you may be able to get your carrier to leave it with a sig of your agent...without your consent in writing. So you know...if you don't get this pkg you won't be eligible for another reship.

Thanks for the thorough explanation. I'm going to schedule the redelivery then. It's funny you both said to not use a fake name as that's not what I was advised when I first started cycling. So that's all good to know.

I think my name not matching shouldn't matter as it's never mattered before as I've signed for packages for my wife or other people who live with me that weren't home before with no issue as long as I stated I knew the person.

I really appreciate all your help with this. I think I'm going to order domestic from now on for the piece of mind lol. Domestic shouldn't ever require a signature right?

Domestic UGL usually just send packs Priority.

No signature.

On the international front, fake names are pointless. If they have enough reasonable cause for a controlled delivery, they'll have search warrants.

I'd wager that a forensic computer scientist is going to tear your shit up and directly link you to the purchase. Then you're just looking at another potential charge for wire fraud.

So I got the package, but it's clearly been opened and resealed(I've never ran into this before) and says FDA on it. Should I be concerned?

I haven't opened it yet, as I'm still weirded out by everything being so different with this order, especially right after a seizure.

Write return to sender and let it sit by the door for a few days or weeks. God forbid something happens, you can say you picked up the pack didn’t recognize it and was going to have it returned. Doubt it provides any real protection but what have you got to lose at this point.

Definitely worried considering it was clearly opened and is the exact same thing they seized before. Granted I never got a love letter, the package just never left customs. My address is obviously flagged. Does my address being flagged effect domestic orders, or only international?

I’m going to say it’s all urban legend. We constantly hear about databases and flagged addresses but I’ve yet to see proof of it beyond a self proclaimed postal worker or customs agent claiming it exists.

I’m positive there’s a secret government org that collects any and every bit of information on earth but whether everyday Law enforcement has access to that i don’t think so.

Honestly I’d just write return to send and let it sit. If you signed for it then they pretty much have whatever they need to controlled delivery bust.

The evidence would suggest my address is flagged. First package never shows up, second one of the same thing is clearly opened and searched, they even wrote FDA on it.

This would lead me to believe they can see through stealth options. If anyone knows of this, that would be helpful.

The more I think about it the more I have to wonder why the first one was stopped and the second one came through, knowing they're the same thing and knowing they definitely checked this one, and they must've checked the last one, why else would they stop it.

The unlikeliest scenario would seem to be that the first package got lost at customs, and wasn't actually seized. And it's just mere coincidence this one was searched.

God I hope I'm just being paranoid. It just doesn't seem to make sense, other then they're waiting for me to open it.

I think the FDA written on it is concerning. I'd think if they had enough evidence, they'd bust you regardless. Maybe I missed it, but did you sign for it at redelivery or they leave at house without a signature?

This.

Either way, clean house and just relocate your shit. You've got it in hand and there's not much point in tossing it.

Remove everything from the shipping containers or whatever, bin the actual packing materials offsite or destroy, and drop your stuff at a friends or wherever.

I signed for it at delivery. I was told this is just sometimes the case for international packages. Do you think I should take it to the post office and just tell them it's not my package as I haven't opened it yet?

Don't overthink it.

No matter what's going on, the less contact with federal agencies the better.

People have a tendency to tell on themselves trying to get out of trouble. Just relocate and keep your mouth shut for awhile.

Stick to domestic going forward.

FYI It's just for personal use so I would think in that sense there's nothing to worry about. It's just all the strange things around this order.

Like I got a piece of paper with it that is for the scheduled redelivery I guess. I've never got one of these either, it basically says it's registered mail, has the tracking, and all the info along with must be present on it highlighted.

I'm going to stop driving myself nuts now, and like you said just make sure nothing is out and about.

Thanks for all the help.

I think they are just sending you a message kind of like if you do it again, they will bust your ass. You need to lay low for a while domestic and international or get another addy to ship to.
