Is This Normal? Post-Injection Lump

Hope all is well, guys. Experiencing something minor that I thought I'd share here so other members and I can learn from it.

After three years of IM administration, I recently switched to Sub-Q halfway into a primo/test cycle, after seeing some acne pop up on my arms and back.

A lump with some minor skin irritation appeared two days after injecting Primo into the fat around my VG.

I've not had any issues like this before and would greatly appreciate your insight as to whether or not this is something to see a doctor about.

There's no pain, just a bit of discomfort. On a scale from 1 to 10, it's just a 1/10.

I've applied neosporin and a bandage to help the skin heal.

Mostly just curious if this is something that'll work itself out or if I should see a medical professional about it.

TIA for your feedback and advice.

I would definitely see a professional about this matter my friend.. I had the same looking thing and ignored it for a couple weeks it looked like a grapefruit hanging off my ass..

I was bitten by a dog on the back of my arm back in August.. This caused cellulitis and a huge abscess to grow in my bicep.. Antibiotics would not touch this one so surgery went ahead luckily this time.. Definitely get it checked out

Thanks for leaving a comment, I appreciate your feedback.

Better safe than sorry, right? It's a bit sensitive to the touch, so, I'm assuming that an isn't an average characteristic of your normal post-injection lump.

What antibiotics did you try for that dog bite?

My ass abscess like this one was just itchy and red.. Skin started to break from itching then my wife pointed out how large it had got..

So the bicep abscess they had me on IV Ceftriaxone for 4 days.. Absolutely no change whatsoever if anything my arm kept growing.. Once surgery had been agreed upon I was told to take Co amoxiclav at 500/125mg with an added 1000mg Amoxocillin on top.. This was taken for roughly 28days all in all..View attachment IMG_20230813_212859.jpg

Goddamn dude this is nightmare fuel. How long before you got better / recovered back to 100%?

I will do shallow IM with slin pins but will never do AAS subq again. Every shot gave me a lump (not as bad as yours)

I wanted to try daily Sub-Q before jumping into low-dose Accutane for the acne.

I don't have much fat to inject into, so the majority of my pins have been bilateral between each VG, 0.3 - 0.4ml at a time. No issues or lumps other than this mishap.

Guess I'll just pop into the doctor's office and explain how I didn't inject my steroids properly lol.

That is absolutely nuts. Thank God you came out of that okay. Glad you got help and healed.

I tried subq once upon a time and found that my limit per injection was about 0.15mL MAX otherwise it was lump city no matter where I injected. I'm sure some other carrier medium might improve the situation but both MCT and GSO were just as bad. I wonder if Mig would be better.

The ass abscess was definitely caused by dirty gear.. There was lots of cheap Test P and Tren Ace around that time I happened to buy around 12 bottles.. This abscess was the result of about 3ml over 3 days..

As I mentioned I was sat waiting for surgery twice and completely lost my head and walked out just been an impatient ass hole.. I kept just having hot baths until it seeped out and cleared itself.. Looks like a bullet wound on my gluten now haha.. The bicep I was back training 4 days after surgery then took a full month to close up. I was very lucky that the abscess was Sub Q or my bicep would of been a mess..

These 2 pics are 1 full month between(22nd August-22nd September) and 3rd is recent. Luckily its not affected the shape of my arm too much
