Joined the Marine Corps

Alot of you know the USAF let me go and I was thinking about pursuing the Army. After much thought and careful consideration I signed up to become a Devil-Dog. I have to say, from dealing with all branches of the military, that the Marines seem to have the most intense sense of comradery and brotherhood. I was out with my recruiter and his buddies last nite and had a fuckin blast! Cool guys! I scored a 91 on the ASVAB and the counselor told me I was out of my mind for choosing 0311, Infantry.

Shippin out in October........will be working on running until then!

Aww shit another jarhead Good for you bro, the Marines have dinstinguished themsevles for being some of the bravest most disciplined soldiers during the heat of battle, and as being some of the rowdy undiciplined while blowing off steam.

brother I am proud of you, 0311 hell yes a grunt, see if you can go 0321 that is what you want recon, or did you sign the contract yet? if you need any info you let me know bro, i got you covered, where are you going for boot camp, cali or SC? let me know if its South carolina I will come down for your graduation we can go out beat up the town together,LOL I wish you all the luck, its hard but you made a good choice, well all the military would of been a good choice, just remember Semper Fi, and you will go far in your new job, and if you really want to start training for it, just start not eating and dont sleep for long peroids get your body used to it know,

you can use AAS while in they dont check at all, but you must be carful if you do get caught you can screw your life up, go to the brig, and get a BCD bad conduct discharge. wait until all your training is done get to a duty station and then order, I would go domestic only, and you must not tell anyone at work and do not get any form anyone at work. even if they are your best friend, dont tell them. about 1.5 years before I was getting out there was a major drug bust going down at camp lejeune, everyone was going to the brig, if your name was mentioned you were going to the brig until you were cleared, but that was for other drugs, I good friend of mine got 10 years inthe brig, when I got back from afghan I was just about to get out, they had mad over 45 arrest on base and off base for drugs, selling and using, so just dont tell anyone about it and you should be fine, shit look me up when you get to your duty station I will help you out, Now it would be impossible for you to do while in boot camp, and SOI training but after that its game on, I do know many that have use in military, but in your line of work you wont be training right, you wont be getting the sleep you need, your diet will suck, but your workouts will be great, when do you leave bro, shti OCT, do a good cycle now, run it all the way until you are ready to leave for boot about 4 weeks before you go,

shit almost forgot did you get it in your contract that you can try out for it, if not he will tell you that you can but i know in the grunt field you are needed and odds are very slim, dont let him fool you, what was the recruiters name that got you? let me know his name and I can do some checking on his reputation, and what town he got you out of, these guys will feed you all the glory in the world but when it comes time that the marine corps needs you at another place you go that is why it is important to get it in contraqct, he can put it in there for you, make sure it. let me do some checking for you, i have a good buddy that just got out of recruiter school, i will give him a call right no.

I just got done with a cycle about 3 weeks ago....im on PCT right now. I dont think I should start another quite yet.....shit maybe, i dont know. i would rather get bloodwork done first to make sure im back to normal b4 i start another. It was a pretty mld cycle and im only 21, so maybe i could start another in a bit here. if i do start one, what do you think would be the best? I need to be able to run the 3 miles in 18 min or less.....the rest of the PFT i can handle. I hear Eq is one of the best as far as aerobic fitness. Toss me some training pointers specific to succeeding in boot.

About 0321, no i didnt know that you can get that in the contract.....check on that for me. I go back to MEPS in St Louis on wed to finish the paperwork. I already did the ASVAB and physical. I had prior service at the USAFA so I have to get that cleared on wed.

My recruiters name is Sgt Jason Stevens out of Champaign Illinois. His boss's name is SSgt Scharf. See like really good guys. They helped me "clear up" before I had to go take the pee test. They didnt really feed me any glory, seemed like they just told me how it is.

as far as the 3 mile run goes you dont have to get it in 18 min you have to get it in under 21 min I think. you could walk it, but if you get it in 18 min you get a perfect score of 300 pft, I did the 20 pull ups ( they are dead hangs no kipping or any leg movements at all) and 100 crunches in 2 min and a 3 mile run I always got a 300 pft I could run like a fucking fire ball, PM your home # i call you on weekends its free for me, also I used to live in illinois shit 34 years I hated it, to damn cold there. I got some books here that might help you out,

make sure you pick a job...any job...ask rambo what grunts do all day.
